Primary care not responding

I recently had surgery through CCN and have been going to physical therapy via CCN as well.

For some reason the VA only authorized 6 visits even though CCN approved 15. I’ve finished my 6 visits and my physical therapist has submitted multiple requests for authorization for more visits with no response.

I called CCN and they told me those approvals come from my primary care team so I need to call them. I have called my primary care and left messages 3 times. Each time the representative tells me I will receive a response in 24 business hours. it’s been three weeks and I haven’t gotten a response and I still don’t have approval for more PT.

I’m wondering who do I contact to escalate this so I can finish my PT? Thanks for any help.

For all of those who have already responded, thanks for the advice. I will contact the patient advocate at my clinic on Monday. I will also contact CCN but I don't expect they will be able to do anything. At one point when I was dealing with another matter I was told by them that even if they authorize something it has to get approved by the VA.

Delicate flower

Not really a discussion but had to put a flair.

Well it's official my girl Mal mix is officially a delicate little flower. I just got a tracker collar for her for if she gets loose again I can hopefully find her quickly. Tonight as I was playing around with the features and such I turned on the sound. It plays a chime type song. Well she is scared of it. She listened for a moment with ears perked and head tilted but that quickly went to trembling, tail tucked and coming to lay down right next to me. Poor girl.

I don't know whether to accept it and just let it be or try to desensitize her to it so it's not scary to her.

Tractive 6 experience?

I posted this is r/dogs as well but thought I'd post here too.

I have decided my girl needs a tracker after she got loose yesterday. She had been doing so good not taking off for 6+ months I thought I was over that phase. So now I am looking at getting a tracker so I can locate her when she gets loose.

I am specifically looking at Tractive 6, the newest model, since it can be put on her existing collar and I don't need to get another collar. I wanted to know what the real world battery life is like? They say 6 days and 14 in low power mode but I know that can be very different from real world experience. They are coming out with a larger version that supposedly will have a much longer battery life so I am considering waiting for that one. Size is also a consideration since the larger one is significantly larger.

Any help so I can hopefully make the best decision is appreciated.

Tractive 6 battery life?

Anyone have any experience with the Tractive 6 (the newest model)? What is the real world battery life? The website says up to 14 days in low power mode or 6 days normal. I have decided I need to get one for my dog since she ran off after something yesterday after not having done that for probably 6+ months.

They are coming out with a newer model that is much larger and has much longer battery life. So I am trying to decide if I should wait for the larger model or just go with the current one. Any help is appreciated.
