Thinking of importing the new Timemore C5 Pro to India – Would you buy it if the price is right? Looking for feedback.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been brewing and drinking specialty coffee for the last 4 years now. Over this time, I’ve often wanted to upgrade to a better grinder but found it hard to justify given how rationally priced they aren't in our market. Like most of you here, one thing that always bothers me is how much of a premium we have to pay for decent gear due to high import costs and distributor markups. My goal is to try and fix that by making premium home coffee equipment more accessible at a fair price point.

I am currently working on a passion project to buy a bulk commercial shipment of the new Timemore C5 Pro Manual Coffee Grinder directly from the manufacturer and distribute it locally.

Before I pull the trigger on a large order, I want to gauge the community's interest and get some honest feedback:

  1. The Product: If you've been tracking Timemore’s lineup, the C5 Pro is their updated model featuring upgraded 42mm S2C-III high-quality burrs and a foldable handle. For anyone looking to upgrade from a basic grinder or a C2/C3, it’s a solid step up.
  2. The Price: I am managing the logistics and custom clearances myself to ensure I can offer this significantly cheaper than the current peer market/retail prices in India, while keeping a clean and sustainable margin to eventually bring in more gear.

My questions for the sub:

  • Is the C5 Pro a grinder you would realistically consider buying right now?
  • If the pricing is strictly lower than what standard Indian retailers offer, would you trust buying directly from an independent platform, or do you strictly stick to established commercial platforms?

I want to make sure there is actual demand here before committing to the capital and customs hassle. Let me know your thoughts on the grinder itself and if this initiative makes sense to you.

Thanks!

Flashcards not complete for Level 2 in the LES

Flashcards in the LES for CFA L2 really needs improvements.

I thought i could use them for revision as it really helped me for L1.

Only 2 falshcards for the first LM in FSA (Intercorporate investments), and as attached some flashcards in the next LM state "Needs Definition".

I was not expecting this really.
