I’m an idiot
I’m on my first Honor Mode run, but this is not a “I lost my honor mode to a dumb move” post. No, I am in fact much more dumb than that.
I have several completed runs on normal and tactician under my belt, and half a dozen where I got to Act 3 and then restarted. The one part I always had a hard time with was the Grymforge.
Now I know I could skip it, but I’m a completionist at heart and want all the shiny loot. I also know that you’re supposed to use the giant hammer, but I have never been able to time it correctly. Not even once. I have always just run around him smacking it with bludgeoning weapons and acid.
But I’m on Honor Mode. I cannot afford a TPK, not even once. So I decided to lure it to the middle and slam the hammer down even with my heartiest person still standing there.
And with two hits from the hammer and a couple smashes from some bludgeoning weapons I was done.
I cannot believe it was this easy. It used to take me well over an hour to kill this asshole. And you’re telling me all I had to do was have someone be a sacrifice??
