Catching a gecko inside a room
Hi All,
I hope it is a good place for this question. A Mediterranean gecko (at least what I think it is, around 12-15cm, and pale rock/sand color with spots, frequent here) has fallen onto my bed from the AC last night. Yes, I know how crazy that sounds, but unfortunately I did not dream it.
I bolted out of the room, pretty shaken and a few mins later I heard a "plop" on the floor. Later I went back, the gecko is gone, but since I sealed the room (no opening whatsoever), it either has to be inside or best case climbed back to the AC (but since that opening is pretty small, I have my doubts).
The space below my bed is so tight that although it can definitely crawl under but I have very hard time looking under it. Also it is massive, I tried to move it enough so it gets out from under it but no success. In the rest of the room, we searched and could not find it.
So now for the question - how would you check if it is inside and trap it so it can be released? I do not want to hurt it. Caveat is that any pet shops only open in 2 days here, so getting some gecko food from their is not feasible soon. I prefer not to ooen the windows, as other stuff that I like eveb less might crawl inside...
Thank you for any tips!
