I wanted to get opinions on the “goal” of color analysis as I’ve been on this journey for quite some time. I’ve had two in person drapings and I got dark autumn for the first one (TCI) and Dark winter for the second one (an independent analyst). What interested me was that the TCI analysis noted cool colors brought my surface redness forward and warmer tones evened my skin. But the second analysis she said the warmer tones added yellow to my skin and cool colors brightened me. Well it got me thinking about how my skin naturally is very yellow leaning. So I wondered, is the goal to hide our yellowness, or embrace it? I could argue the warmer colors just highlight my olive skin and cooler colors counteract it. So I think both were right in their own way, but what is the desirable effect? To hide or embrace the olive tones?
