Watched some shade twins videos of people on TikTok who looked similar to me, and well… that didn’t work. My best match to date is Loreal True Match in 1N, but it’s still not quite right. I thought 1.5N would be better (middle swatch) but well you can see obviously not LOL. I really want to try the new-ish Lumi Matte foundation from Maybelline but the shade range is so limited in Sweden and they have none of the shades I think would work :( 115 (far left) look like I’d be an Oompa Loompa. Sigh. For a country with a lot of fair people and skin like mine I don’t understand the shade ranges offered versus other countries.

I just wanted to share these because I think it's such a great value set- 29 dollhairs for 10 full sized, sharpen-able pencils. It had been out of stock every time I looked at it before, I was glad to scoop this up a couple weeks ago looks like it is still in stock now. Photos taken in direct and indirect indoor sunlight. The top two I already owned so I threw those in as well, I love Grunge.

If you are looking for a super long-wear/budge-proof pencil, these aren't it, but I love how creamy, comfortable and blendable they are, great for diffused edges and creating dimension.

I found this tinted Sunscreen in my stash and tried it on today, and it blended in so seamlessly! If you're a match to about face L2O and are looking for a tinted sunscreen, I think you'll like this one.

*Disclaimer, my version is in a different packaging, so not sure if the formula changed too, but I don't think it did. Aso, I'm unable to swatch because I have a Google Pixel, and it always messes with the colors/makes me look pink 😩

IM SO SAD I just found out that fenty soft matte pro filter foundation has been discontinued (most likely due to talc) and they are all sold out of most shades including mine😭 This foundation in shade 150 was the only foundation Ive ever found to match me almost perfectly as a neutral-cool light muted olive and i have combo-oily skin and this is one of the only foundations that doesn’t break up on my nose and forehead from the oil. Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement foundation with a similar formula? This one made me look so airbrushed and kept my oil at bay so well😭 Attaching some photos of me wearing the foundation.

I’ve never been able to find a even half decent foundation match. Also concealer suggestions too please, I like a slightly brighter under eye :)

Hi! I’m sorry I know there are a lot of photos here, but I am at a complete loss on whether I’m neutral, warm or cool. I’m not great with color or symmetry, it’s generally really challenging for me to identify if something is warm or cool toned. I know I’m definitely Olive.

My daily drivers for foundation are About Face F2O and the Espoir 23.5 Fair olive cushion, but I feel like the About Face doesn’t have great coverage and the Espoir oxidizes so it’s really difficult for me to tell if they are truly working for me 🫠

I also don’t go out into the sun a ton, I think my foundation matches me well in low light/club lighting but when I’m out during the day I’m not so sure.

Im not sure if I could be categorized with fair skin tone 😅 But Im try things and wondering for a night out, which makeup seems better?

NYX Make Em Wonder in 01 Pale

I am 100% fair olive. I am definitely visibly green, however also very pale. I can never pick between gold and silver. I thought I was cool tones for a long time before I knew I was olive and just wore silver, but recently I’ve been getting told I should wear gold instead. My hands are more red than the rest of me for some reason. But I am getting proposed to soon and I need to decide yellow or white gold!! Help!!!

… is worth it. I rarely buy limited edition makeup right when it launches, but I couldn’t resist this color and I’m SO glad I bought it. It’s the most beautiful and natural light pink flush on a light olive skin tone. Chef’s kiss.

It’s out-of-stock at the moment, but do yourself a favor and add yourself to the waitlist.

I liked how I did makeup today, despite having to do work to get a foundation and concealer match by colour correcting. I'm open to shade suggestions, if anyone has one. I have combo skin. Regardless of any suggestions, I just thought I'd share how I make my complexion products work.
