For some context - I got the Lisa Eldridge skin tint the other day and it was SUCH A GOOD MATCH that I wondered how all my other skin tints compared, since they were, and still are, my go-to's in rotation everyday since I think they end up not being too shabby.

So...I was bored and decided to swatch them all today, in case it would be of help to anyone, especially after cracking the code in getting the most color accurate photos I've ever been able to take 💚

Notes about color accuracy in photos:

• The photos are edited for bokeh and to white balance it all, using the white neutral gray shade of my eyeball (every other white part of the image isn't neutral, it's a warm or cool white)
• Photos taken in natural day light, by a window, no direct sunlight, not particularly sunny either
• I have bad circulation, and so my chest often looks red while my neck doesn't hahaha, same things with my lower arms, they look greener than my chest and upper arm. My goal is to match to the neck, since I am always covered anyways.
• I also have a beard cast, which I mostly never correct on my daily quick makeup look.
• My swatches don't run to the neck as I find the neck brings out all the red in any tint, so I just applied them to my face to see how the formulas and tones interact with my natural face color.

1 - I KNOW some of these would benefit from cropping or shifting the tilt a little bit, but oh well. 2 - I can't remember the last time I used the actual camera app to take a photo...I really enjoy the color processing and no sharpening that this preset does.

I couldn't resist and HAD to order a couple fragrances this month!

I am SO HAPPY with all of them, I was not expecting to love all these blind buys!

Fragrance list:

• Raheeq - Nusuk - It smells like HONEY, like, realistic honey, with a TOUCH of a citrusy accord, but sweetened by vanilla and a clear coconut that comes through more and more as it dries down. I am at a loss for words. Don't know what I was expecting, but it's INSANE. I think it's my favorite out of the bunch - 5/5 ⭐️
• Fursan White - Khadlaj - What a GORGEOUS vanilla coconut scent, holy sh*t. It feels like you came out of the shower, covered yourself in sweet almond body oil, used a rich organic coconut lotion and finished it with a vanilla bodysplash. Vanillic, coconuty but grown and skin-like. GORGEOUS! - 5/5 ⭐️
• Petra - Lattafa - First of all...THE BOTTLE? Gorgeous, and the scent weirdly doesn't match the vibe BUT it matches the quality. It's boozy, clearly fruity, but with a coconut lotion accord in the background, and sweetened with vanilla sugar. It's dark, sexy, like a night out date in greece - 5/5 ⭐️
• Montaigne Coco - Maison Alhambra - Out of all of them, it's the one that surprised me the least. To me it just smells like a vanilla monöi blend, that's it. GORGEOUS, but rather underwhelming. Once again it has a musk that grounds the scent and makes it less bright and slightly denser and skin-like, but yeah, no strong coconut or peach yet - 3.5*/5 ⭐️*
• Papillon des Vents - Paris Corner - Oh my GOD. Honestly, flower notes are really hard for me to describe, but to ME, this smells like a bright day, sunny, and you're in a field full of flowers, and in the middle of the flowers, orange blossom says an extra hello. Its sweet, fun, light, bright, solar almost, and lovely! - 4.5*/5 ⭐️*
• Victoria Flower - Maison Alhambra - For the price it's INSANE! It's slightly soapy to me, especially after the dry down, but it's a "clean, bright, slightly citrusy but mostly soapy flowers scent" It's really hard for me to describe florals, but this is REALLY nice. A bit heavy due to the soapiness, but I am loving it so far! - 4.5*/5 ⭐️*
• Victoria Flower Orchid - Maison Alhambra - Oh lord...another floral I can't describe...Ok, to ME, it smells like you took a JUICY peach, and a nice juicy flower if that's even a thing, you cook them together, and add to those juices a vanilla sugar. It's sugary sweet but where the floral accord bring it away from a gourmant and into a sweet floral with a touch of fruitiness. It's hard to describe, but I LOVE IT. LOOOVE IT! - 5/5 ⭐️

I've been STRUGGLING with this issue for a while and I'm kinda loosing my mind.

I've found a couple combos and matches that, at a mirror's glance, in natural light, look SPOT ON. Indoors in natural indirect light as well...BUT THEN I take a photo or ask someone to take a photo...or step into an elevator or a bus and my face looks INSANELY off, almost as if I'm more red and my face is more yellow, for example.

Is this just a nature of being olive? Where the way skin reflects light makes the skintone change depending on lights? What could explain this?

So, as some of you may have seen, I had a slight issue with a One Size Beauty order from the US to Portugal, with three items missing and one broken.

This post serves as a warning/update

I contacted them via email form after spending 3 hours in their live chat with no agent, to which they replied requesting a couple images and batch codes. so far so good. Sent them all and called it a days.

I noticed the email I had received as a reply was centered around the broken item, so I double emailed, just reminding them of the missing products. To which I got another reply asking for the same images again. A little weird, but sent them
A couple minutes later I get a reply…asking me to rate the support I got? Almost like…the ticket had been closed?

Thinking it was weird, I sent them a new email saying the ticket had been closed/I got asked to rate the support even though it wasn’t near being solved. I got a reply within seconds saying sorry, asking to recount the whole situation and…for the same pictures one more time. I replied with exactly what happened and the same photos…

To which I got replied with: “(…)and because your order is international and includes both missing items and a damaged item, this needs a human teammate to review and sort out the next step.

To avoid another unsolved loop, I’m handing this over now so a person can take it from here and keep the thread moving 👍”

All this to say: One Size is using (awful) AI in their customer support exchanges, and this would‘ve fallen into an unsolvable loop had I not sent another email being bothersome.

Not only is this insanely disappointing and disrespectful, but it’s a huge waste of time for any customer that, like me, spent any amount of money with the brand.

Posting this as a warning to everyone: please stay vigilant with customer support emails. I’m REALLY tech savvy and AI is something I always spot but this kinda caught me blindsided

So....I'm beyond upset, to the point where I'm going to lose my mind and need validation from y'all...

I ordered a bunch of stuff from One Size, more specifically:

• 3x Powder foundation - shade Fair 3 for (n)
• 1x Powder foundation - shade Stage white
• 2x Oil Sucker primer
• 1x Cheek Clapper Blush trio - attention seeker

A bit of context: I'm from Portugal, and the order comes from the US to the Netherlands, from the Netherlands to Madrid, from Madrid to Lisbon and from Lisbon to my house.

The doorbell rang, I was so happy...until I opened the box to not only find a mere sheet of paper as packing material, but that 3 powder foundations are missing (Stage white and two Fair 3 (N)) and that the blush came with the shimmer absolutely destroyed. Given I payed almost 200€ for all this, I am so disappointed and enraged.

Customer support is in a totally different timezone than me, so contacting them is extra slow, I can't just buy these products in store, because some are unavailable, some I bought with a big discount online, and now I'm stuck waiting to hear from the customer support team.

Is it normal for me to feel this mad? or is it just my disappointment after quite a bit of waiting?

As promised, here's the long awaited makeup wear test with the new G&G Zero Feel SPF 50!

A few things you should know beforehand about how I tested it out.

1. I'm REALLY pale
2. I'm REALLY oily
3. I'm REALLY sweaty
4. I have a regular 9-5 job
5. I'm from Portugal, so today the weather was quite sunny, warm, at around 20ºc

Okay so, I'll be dividing this makeup wear test into 3 sections: Beginning, Middle and End, so you can get a better understanding of how this wore throughout my very long day haha

Beginning (6:30 to 12:00)

So I started doing my makeup at around 6:30am. With a cleansed face, nothing underneath, I applied the sunscreen as usual and let it dry completely. Then proceeded to do my usual office makeup routine (For transparency sake: Kylie Skin Tint and Huda Beauty loose powder for today). I immediately noticed that the skin tint wasn't as easy to blend as I would expect for such a liquid formula. I usually apply it all over the face from the bottle directly and then go in with a brush, and that's never an issue, but I did notice this made it harder to blend the liquid skin tint on my skin, almost as if it was drying faster. Nonetheless, what I ended up with was a VERY SMOOTH looking complexion, given it was a bit splotchy due to the blending being harder. But the texture of the tint was pretty smooth! Then starts my commute to the office which makes me break a sweat to the multiple public transportation methods I have to catch and stairs I have to catch. Usually when I arrive at the office I quickly check how my skin is looking in the elevator, and it's also then that I notice my forehead being a bit sweaty. This time around, I was quite surprised that only the hairline looked sweaty, while the rest of the forehead looked nice, normal, only a teeny tiny sweaty. From here on out it was smooth sailing.

Middle (13:00 to 16:00)

This is where the wear of the makeup took a turn, but not necessarily for the worst. Inevitably, I started getting shiny, because I'm just REALLY OILY, but it never came through in a way that it disrupted the completion's evenness. As the day went on, I became shinier and shinier, as it usually happens with any makeup application without sunscreen underneath. Nothing major happening here, just a regular full face of makeup wearing and wearing.

End (17:00 to 20:00)

And this is where no miracles happen. I went In the mirror before going out again, re-applied sunscreen (in a spray from CIEN), and powdered my whole face, which gave me around 1 or 2 extra hours, but as soon as I arrived home, looking In the mirror, it was clear that it was crying for help due to the oiliness. Never looked unfixable BESIDES the sunglasses mark, but that's to be expected on any given makeup day.

Conclusion

For the average non-makeup wearing person, this may seem like a boring post, I know, but for all my makeup wearing girlies, on my REALLY oily skin, I am really happy to report that this sunscreen didn't disturb the wear I EXPECT from my makeup within a reasonable working day. This sunscreen clearly isn't an oily sucking miracle for hours and hours on end, no one ever promised that to begin with, but at the same time, this seems like a sunscreen that behaves REALLY well with makeup throughout the day, not changing the finish of any product I applied, and giving me a solid base to work on. Some sunscreens may make any complexion product more dewy, or more slippery, this just isn't the case!

TL;DR - This sunscreen made my makeup apply smoothly, albeit with less spreadability than expected, so blend foundation in sections for best results. No pilling at all as well! It didn’t make my already oily complexion any more oily and it wore beautifully as a regular face of makeup does!

I know what you're probably thinking...ANOTHER post about this damn sunscreen? It's paid, it's sponsored, it's tired. I get it, but I promise to you it is NONE of the above. Edit: as a matter of fact, this is the first time I buy something from this brand, literally. Knew nothing about them except for their Vitamin C serum that has always been talked about, but yeah, I'm a total newbie to this brand, spent my own money on these 3 units!

I thought I would try and add to this conversation, as a makeup wearing oily person, how I feel about this sunscreen in topics I haven't seen much about, given that it just arrived today and I am beyond excited for it. For context, I have really oily skin, and my current sunscreen of choice has been the Garnier UV Fluid with BHA and Niacinamide.

As a makeup wearing oily person, here are the main points that I think I can add upon and mention as to not just repeat what everyone else has been saying:

1. This is truly TRULY matte, it leaves your skin feeling as if you cleansed it and dried it off with a towel, and then proceeded to put on a silicone based powdery oil-sucking primer (reminds me of the Patrick Star oil sucker's finish, almost dusty)
2. It made my hands feel DRY, to where I thought it was best to go wash them and put on some lotion, this isn't child's play.
3. It leaves the face feeling EXTREMELY smooth, to where I think makeup will look STUNNING on top of it. It hasn't pilled off
4. After wearing it alone for a couple hours, my face is getting shiny, as I was expecting, since it's just my skin being itself, which means, this sunscreen didn't boost the oiliness on my face, at all.
5. I know this has been mentioned before but GOD the price point is JUST right. 12€ for 75ml Is beautiful, unlike my garnier one with costs around the same and contains only 40ml.
6. For those that have seen tiktoks about reapplication on top of makeup, I'm not sure how this would work as it starts off being thicker than expected for a zero feel sunscreen.

Conclusion: It's what I've always wanted from a sunscreen but never found. It has become my standard for what a sunscreen can be: weightless, oil-less, dewy-less, pure perfection.

As you can tell...I went crazy and ordered 4 units, BLINDLY, hoping this would be an easy way to fix my foundations that look pink on my neck...and BOY AM I HAPPY I DID IT!

Just applying this powder on top of my foundations made the neck swatches IMMEDIATELY blend into my skin tone so much better, I was left in shock. I couldn't believe it. I love this formula so much for my EXTRA greasy oily skin, and now to have it in a shade that makes my foundations match is a miracle. Color correction and oil control in one single step!
