Hiii !👋🏻😊 Fellow Cool leaning Neutral Olive ( light to medium - medium) this side. I think I've never been this excited for a launch during an incoming festive week. I've been saving up for Fenty products that I had been eyeing for awhile now. For refrence Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin foundation in shade 11 N ( it looked olive and the formula was beautiful but was a hair light) worked for me while I was testing it in stores on my trip out, Nars products were golden on me ( Punjab was too light, Vanatu seemed too warm inspite of the sale's associate claiming it to be perfect for me).

I really want to get atleast two good products from Fenty Beauty. I'm hoping to go for their foundation and lip gloss bomb or gloss ( not the plumping one) along with their blushes possibly. I'm not sure if this is the renewed formula. Can anyone please help me to pick out the right one or atleast the one that works for my skintone and undertone .

For context I have combination skin so I need the blushes to have some longevity though I'm not a matte preferring person. The last two images are of my skintone in different indoor lightings since I am morphing into my winter shade eventually but I'm still in light to medium spectrum while leaning into medium. Also I love the shades of all Fenty lip products but specifically for the glosses I've heard that they have zero longevity. Is that true? If someone has used them which I'm sure most of you must have then please review them too! I'm in desperate need for one so that I can actually compare and go for a blind buy since I can't go to the store due to an upcoming surgery too ( dw I'm good presently (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) ) .

I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions and any recommendation from other fellow Neutral Olives, Cool Olives and muted Olives would be gratefully taken into consideration. I really want to get something before they go stock out so please help me out Olive Diva's. 🫒🥹💕🌻

After all this time of thinking I was just warm and finding foundation after foundation that made me orange or just didn't match at all I think realized I have olive skin. I think I am somewhere around a medium Muted Olive skin?

Is it a good match for my neck?

A week ago I asked for help trying to find a dupe for the Prada soft matte lipstick in caramel. The color was the perfect MLBB mauve-y nude on my warm medium olive skintone, with naturally pale mauve-grey lips. Unfortunately the Prada lipstick had a strong floral scent and taste that I did not like even though the color and formula were great.

I went to Sephora and swatched all the other options side by side with caramel and could not find a good match. I even ordered some Asian beauty lippies from yesstyle and none of them were close either. I tried several drugstore options as well. I didn’t want a liquid lipstick but ended up giving the Maybelline Teddy tint a try after seeing a TikTok for one of them.

When I looked at the Teddy tint colors I noticed the shade Kitten Heel looked very similar to Prada Caramel. And, I’m happy to report it’s almost an exact match!! Yes, it’s not a bullet lipstick, but it is also sheer/blurring like the Prada is. Asides from the differences in formula, color-wise it’s a near perfect match on my lips.

Maybelline Teddy tint in Kitten heel has a touch more brown in it while Prada Caramel has a touch more pink. On the lips the color is pretty neutral and doesn’t lean overly cool/warm. I swatched them side by side in different lighting and added a screenshot that does a better job capturing the color of kitten heel than my photo. Though my swatches don’t look like it, once it’s on the lips the color looks much more mauve. It’s such a natural looking color, I’m so happy to have found my perfect MLBB color. I’m overdue for a wax so I won’t be posting lip swatches, sorry 😅

So. I really paid alot to try to find a match.. didnt work. That green colour corrector from Etude is nice tho. Its not a match but its nice for redness AND i like that its light and not as Vibrant green as most correctors. All Concealers are non comedogenic fyi. The BG one in natural light 403 is perfect.. till it dries down to bright orange -_- The second one is etude in pro sand 23n1. Its way to pink for me. And the judydoll o4 shell is also yellow/orange. I guess ill keep looking 🫩😔 im whats called a muted olive i think. I tend to be green af instead of yellow and if i wear bright colours i become REALLY green

Kiko Milano Double Touch in 121 Dark Rosy Chesnut is so good for olives. These lipsticks are almost exactly like the Chanel duos and you can make the lip color side fully pigmented or sheered out.

The color is similar to L’Oreal 133 Le Wood Nonchalant but a touch rosier, which I prefer. I paired it with Soshe Speakeasy liner when sheered, Sephora Collection 18 Dark Brown at full coverage.

Shades i have tried are Lancôme taint idol ultra wear foundation 310N and 225N.

Lancôme taint idol ultra wear concealer 215N and 230N

And the Estee lauder double wear foundation (old formula from a year ago) shades 2N1 and 2N2.

Currently i am wearing Lancôme taint idol ultra wear foundation shade 225N because it matches best but it still runs a little pink/orange, and same with Estee lauder double wear foundation in 2N2 (it’s a bit more gonldeny)
I am searching for a new concealer and skin tint but a better shade match that runs a bit more olive so if that is you and you are close shades to me please share your shades!

This is just the lipstick, no lip liner. I just have two-toned lips that make it look as if I'm wearing lip liner under sheer lipsticks. It's definitrly a very warm-toned purple pink that pleasantly surprised me since usually light-purple/pink lip products do not pull even remotely purple whatsoever on me.

A lot of the new Mac skinfinish colorstruck blushes swatched in natural window light. All are the new formula except for the last three are the original Mac powder blushes :)

Sooo I got my first actual purple blush the other day and I love it! It looks pink on my cheeks without looking too much.

As for the formula, it blends easily and the shimmer finish doesn't accentuate my textures, which is what I was scared of the most.

I've seen a few people on tiktok complain about this shade being patchy on them but I personally didn't experience any patchiness with this shade.

I feel like since it's a sheer shimmer formula, dragging (instead of tapping) the pigment across the cheek can make it patchy so you might wanna try that if you're encountering the same issue with it hehe.

Hello! I decided to do some side by side lip swatches of the new Mac Holiday Naughty Nude, bare lips no liner in bathroom light near a window. I have fair neutral olive skin but have a “tan” at the moment (I am not wearing foundation in these photos) my closest typical foundation match is Salt NY 13, AF F2, HL 050. I only swatched lips that I would consider concealer lips on me, for example Crème Cup and Honeylove are mid toned on me. I did had swatched of those in another post if you are interested. I’ll share what I shared in the other post, Naughty Nude is ok, but not groundbreaking. It will also not be super nude or concealer lip on you unless you are light medium or darker. Enjoy!

I recently bought MAC Signature Move, but unfortunately, it pulls very orange on my skin. This has actually been a recurring problem for me because most nude lipsticks I buy end up looking either too orange or too red on me.

For the life of me, I cannot understand color theory 😭 I'm a light-medium neutral olive (but I'm that not sure about this yet bc sometimes I do lean warm a bit). I’m just trying to find a nude lipstick that looks like the muted, slightly grayish nude color that Signature Move appears to be in this screenshot.

So I’m wondering: since Alone Time is supposed to be a cooler version of Signature Move, would buying Alone Time potentially give me that muted nude color I’m looking for? I've seen people saying that Alone Time looks too gray and cool for them, but since everything looks orange on me, maybe Alone Time wouldn't wash me out as much as it did to others?

Basically, I’m trying to figure out whether going cooler would actually counteract the orange pull I’m getting from Signature Move.

Would really appreciate any color theory experts’ input because I am LOST 😭

I’m a T6.5 and based on my selfie, LE team recommended either shade 8 or 9. I still can’t tell the difference from this picture they shared, but in case anyone has other swatches of these two - I’d really appreciate your input!
