Wearing the new Rare Beauty Lip Oil! Launching next week (spoiler next slide)

Wearing shade “Embrace”. The official swatch looks pretty close, but it looks TOTALLY different on Selena! The shade is described as warm brown. It is a bit too warm for my preference, but still I think it’s a pretty shade that would look good on all olives!

OK chat! I finally tried Wisp! What are we thinking?

Resting bitch face as I’m trying to decide if I like this blush on me or not!😂

A bit tanner here than my previous pics, just FYI.

Does this look like eczema?

It appeared out of nowhere a couple of days ago.
No changes made in my routine, but have recently started going to the gym and I use the equipment there.

It itches and the texture is dry.

Marc Jacobs Blush: Another day, another “mauve” shade that isn’t really mauve on 🫒

I should really stop falling for all the shades described as “mauve”…cause obviously not on me! but… ironically I like this shade better on me than the swatch photos! Thoughts?

I tried so you don’t have to: New NARS liquid blush in Qué Calor pulls fairly warm on Cool Olive!

PCOS - 3 months off BC after 15+ years! Super chaotic chart?

32 years old - Stopped BC after 15+ years about 3 months also.

PCOS with controlled insulin levels (all stable and normal) with Metformin + Chromium + other supplements.

To me this looks SO chaotic so far! What are your thoughts?

Supplements that have been genuinely helping me lose weight! (15 lbs in 3-4 months)

Here’s a follow up on the post I made here about a week ago that came across a little controversial, BUT…again I want to make it VERY clear that I’m not anti BC. Genuinely if it works for you, that’s amazing and I’m very happy for you! 🫶🏼

Since I was absolutely miserable on it (many types I tried for 15+ years), I finally stopped it a few months ago.

Before getting into the supplements list, please note that while I was on BC, I was on Metformin and used to exercise VERY hard and could not drop a pound. I’m lean PCOS and my heaviest weight was 120 lbs (I’m 5 ft tall). Since starting the following, I have lost 15 lbs in the span of 3-4 months. I hope my experience helps!

💕 Morning:

Arrae MB-1 supplement x 2 - This is a pretty expensive supplement, but Chromium is that star! You can find WAY cheaper Chromium supplements on Amazon, but the mix of supplements in these Arrae pills helps me a ton!

It includes:

Vitamin B6 (as P5P) – 5mg, Chromium (as Chromium Picolinate) – 500mcg, Green Tea Extract, African Mango Seed Extract (IGOB131®), Cissus Leaf Extract (CQR-300®), Grains of Paradise Seed Extract – 895mg, Probiotic: Bifidobacterium lactis B420 – 25mg

💕 Lunch:

1 X Metformin 500 mg with food

1 x ORTHO MOLECULAR Methyl B Complex. Safe for anyone concerned with MTHFR gene mutation. It includes:

Thiamin (Vitamin B1) (from Thiamine Hydrochloride USP)50 mg (4,167% DV)

Riboflavin (Vitamin B2 USP)50 mg (3,846% DV)

Niacin (as Niacinamide USP)50 mg (313% DV)

Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine Hydrochloride USP)50 mg (2,941% DV)

Folate (from 400 mcg as Quatrefolic® (6S)-5-Methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt)680 mcg DFE (170% DV)

Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin)500 mcg (20,833% DV)

Biotin75 mcg (250% DV)

Pantothenic Acid (as d-Calcium Pantothenate USP)50 mg (1,000% DV)

Choline (as Choline Bitartrate)19 mg (3% DV)

Inositol NF50 mg (Daily Value not established)

1 x Swanson Spearmint Leaf (Mentha Spicata)

💕 Dinner:

1 X Metformin 500 mg with food

1 x Swanson Spearmint Leaf (Mentha Spicata)

1 x Nature Bounty Omega-3 1000 mg (Algae Oil)

💕 Bedtime:

1 x Spironolactone 100 mg

💕 Once a week:

1 x Nature Bounty vitamin D3 10,000 IU

📍I pretty much eat everything I used to eat before! The only dietary change I have made is that I have fully stopped drinking coke! Maybe a couple of sips every once in a while, but I’m not craving it anymore!

In the past few months since stopping BC, I have not been exercising, but I’m getting back to working out again. Considering the successful weight loss, I think now it’s a great time to combine it with light exercising 2-3 times a week!

Not sure if anyone wants to hear this, but coming off birth control changed my life… FOR BETTER!

After 15+ years of dealing with PCOS and being on birth control basically since I was 15, a few months ago I decided to slowly come off of it. You may ask why? I had started feeling like no birth control was working for me anymore, and my body constantly felt like it was in a battle. The mood swings were insane, and nothing helped. Absolutely NOTHING! Over the past 3 years, I went from 100 lbs to 120 lbs, and being only 5 feet tall, that felt like a drastic change. Honestly, I felt like shit. My hair felt like shit. I hated myself!

A few months ago, I started religiously taking my Metformin, slowly reduced my sugar intake, and added Chromium to my supplements… and guess what? Since stopping birth control around January until now, I’ve lost 14 pounds!!! My hair looks SO much better, and my skin looks even smoother! I’ve always been on Spironolactone, but for me, Spironolactone + birth control never seemed to help much. Now continuing Spironolactone on its own, along with Metformin and Chromium has been amazing! My androgen levels are now on the lower end of normal, my insulin levels look great, and I genuinely feel like my body has been functioning so much better. I’m not a bitch anymore! My mood is sooo much better too, and I’ve also been tracking my hormones daily with Mira while learning more about how my body works.

If you’re constantly battling PCOS and feel like birth control may be making things worse for you, maybe it’s worth talking with your doctor and exploring the root cause of your symptoms instead of only masking them with birth control!💕

EDIT: I’m not attacking anyone who chooses birth control! I’m not anti birth control at all! In fact I believe it should be available for free for anyone who needs it, no question asked! The purpose of this post if MY personal experience and my frustration that unfortunately a lot of doctors use BC as an easy band-aid method when it comes to PCOS rather than finding the root cause.
