On a serious note, I've always thought about this in relation to people who rearrange their whole faces. If they decide to have children, their children are likely to have some of the facial features they despised so much that they went under the knife.
If I disliked my nose, it would've seriously messed with my mind as a child and vulnerable teen if my mom had hacked her similar nose away. It would validify my complex (in my mind) and confirm that my nose wasn't "good enough". Plunge me straight into the deepest waters of body dysmorphia
