Why does Amazon Health AI feel the need to advertise using a nasty, infected foot?

It's so nauseating when I'm eating and this disgusting foot comes on the screen.

Who wore it best- Tim or Mido?

My vote is for Tim, the OG 90D metrosexual. They're gold colored, look a little thicker and Tim seems like a genuinely nicer person. Mido sucks, and no amount of facial treatments and tweezer plucking can help his shitty personality.

As a person with only ear lobe pierced, I'm trying to figure out Paula's piercings

How many piercings in this ear? What is the hoop-looking thing in the top center? Not shaming, just genuinely curious about this. At first I thought she had a hearing aid.

Collars & Company, first world problems

This douche's biggest problem is "floppy collars."

My astute youngster saw this ad, rolled her eyes and said, "There are homeless people out there. People who have cancer. People who cannot afford groceries, and this guy's worried that his collar is floppy."

These Tai Chi Walking Ads

I work as a fraud investigator for a financial institution and the number of elderly people who purchase the app & get scammed is alarming. A so-called "free" app ends up charging them
$39.99 monthly. It's disgusting and I wish there was a way to ban them.

I don't think we'll ever know what happened

Did she commit suicide, go off the boat to score drugs, was sex- trafficked? It's been 28 years. At this point it seems unlikely she will turn up.

It's a very sad situation and as a parent myself I cannot fathom living with my child missing all these years.

Are there people out there who think she'll be found?

Do banks typically have high turnover, like REALLY high turnover?

I've been at my bank (smaller, locally-owned) for almost 5 months. I am amazed at how many people have left. Within my first 2 months there were two that quit, one being my manager/trainer. In the last month we lost 2 more. Our phone list is constantly being updated bc people keep leaving. Every day I see initials on people's accounts that I don't recognize, only to find out they were previous tellers.

Even now we're short several tellers, despite placing ads on Indeed. Is this typical of banks? Is it bc banks don't generally pay well? It's not just tellers quitting here, it's branch managers, loan officers, etc too.

Not taking pill on weekends

For context, I'm on the shot and not very knowledgeable about the pill. A coworker is taking the pill. She said she's no longer taking it on the weekends because of the nausea. She said last weekend was her first time doing this and her nausea stopped those 2 days she didn't take the pill.

Is this ok to do? I thought you had to take the pill every day.

WeWard app commercial

I swear they find the most unhinged people for these commercials. The guy with the green hair and beard is the worst.

Jungle Jim's ozempic compound?

I've been on Wegovy injections for two months but it's expensive. My doctor swears by the semaglutide compound at Jungle Jim's and said it has B-12 in it?

My friend wants to go on this compound too but her doctor won't prescribe bc it's not FDA-approved.

Anyone who's used the JJ compound, have you had any issues? Are the syringes pre-filled?

ETA: if you plan on responding with judgement about these types of meds, save your breath. I'm not interested in hearing your negativity.

Young Washington commercial (Angel Network)

This looks like the dumbest movie ever, and they constantly play this commercial on YouTube.

My wish for samples

I wish Nespresso would give us options on the free samples. For instance, I ordered a sleeve of the Strawberry and a sleeve of the Almond Hibiscus and didn't like either one, at all.

I wish Nespresso would allow me to select one pod of each (2 pods, the same number in their free samples) so I could try it before ordering. It would've saved me some money. It could be beneficial to Nespresso too, bc if I liked it I'd order several sleeves. Now I'm kinda gun-shy to try new flavors because I don't want to waste money.

How much water do you drink in a day?

I'm trying to focus on drinking more but I find myself peeing like every 30 minutes at the office which is a nuisance.

I’ve only lost 10 pounds in almost 3 months

54 Female. Started the 0.25 pen, I’m currently on 0.50 and today is week 10. I went from 170 pounds to 160 pounds.

I understand everyone’s journey and body are different and I shouldn’t compare, yet I’m frustrated. I track what I eat, drink water, don’t drink alcohol or eat junk food. I admit the last couple of weeks I haven’t worked out much due to the extreme heat and humidity, but I thought surely I’d lose more weight than this. I’m going through menopause, so maybe it’s making the weight loss more difficult.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Dem teeth

Zoom in on his chompers. On the right side part of his gums are a different color. Are these veneers? Dentures? I'm so confused. They don't fit his mouth.

Their customer service is terrible

I bought a Vertuo machine and inside the box was a postcard with a code for two free glass mugs with purchase. I set up an account, put 8 sleeves in my cart and entered the promo code. I got an error stating that the promo code was invalid. I re-entered the code thinking I had a typo but still got the error message. The code is valid through December 2026.

I did a Live Chat with someone named "Hamlet" who said that the code is only valid after my first 2 orders. Nowhere on the postcard does it state that. He then tells me I can get a welcome gift. I asked what the welcome gift is, and I'm told it's a set of glass mugs....the exact item that is on the postcard lol.

Then he tells me that I have to order through him, even though the items are in my cart. Ok. I tell him the items. He tells me he'll send me a link to enter my payment info. At this point I'm a little leery and ask if I'll get a receipt and he said yes. I enter the payment info and it read "Payment Accepted." I get an email with tracking info, order number and total amount spent. That's it. No breakdown of the various sleeves I ordered.

I click on the tracking info and it states my order was cancelled! What? No reason given. I decide to skip a Live Chat and call Customer Service. A woman answered who I could barely understand. I asked why my order was cancelled. She said something about a suspicious alert. I placed my order again with her, and again my order is immediately cancelled. She tells me my credit card company is the one cancelling due to fraud. I hang up, call my credit card company and they tell me they absolutely did not cancel my orders. I believe my credit card company, as they always text me if there's any potential fraud suspected, and they hadn't texted me. Plus, the order was only $110, not some exorbitant amount.

So now I'm pissed off and frustrated with Nespresso. I just wanted to order some pods and get the mugs. Why is it so difficult? The Live Chat seemed sketchy and Customer Service flat-out lied and tried to blame my credit card company. Ridiculous.

I'm exhausted all day, every day

54 Female. I'm on week 6 of the shot. Yesterday was my second week on 0.5. I've lost 7 pounds total.

My problem is that I'm completely exhausted. When I get home from my non-physical office job, all I want to do is crawl in bed. On weekends I take naps. I feel like I could sleep for days and still be tired. Has anyone else experienced this? I take a multivitamin and Vitamin D daily.
