I was on the Wegovy shot for 3 months and lost 15 pounds. Due to financial reasons, I switched to a compound (my doctor specifically recommended this particular pharmacy).

I've been on the compound (1.0 mg) for two months with zero weight loss. My doctor is increasing the dose to 2.0 but I'm wondering if maybe the compound just isn't as good as the actual Wegovy brand.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

I attended Purdue many, many moons ago, graduating in 1994. Honest question here for those without a trust fund: how are you guys affording housing? I see all these nice, new fancy high rise apartments being built, but they’re going for like $2,000 per month and that doesn’t include utilities or parking. Even the crappy old apartments are ridiculously high, if any are even available. It’s insane to me. I looked at some online for my son, and these places have rooftop pools, meditation rooms and one even had a 2-story slide in the lobby. My kid doesn’t need high end kitchen appliances and designer quartz countertops. He needs a place to sleep. Who are all these students affording these types of apartments? Even with roommates the rent is crazy.

This is my completely petty post: I cannot stand when Carrie repeated says "booth bitch" (Aidan) and "lova" (Petrovsky). I have a visceral reaction during these episodes.

Like most people, my insurance won't cover Wegovy. My doctor called in a prescription. I got the savings card.

To use the savings card, do I need anything from the insurance company? Is there a limit as to how many months I can use the card?

I started Wegovy in early May at 0.25. The next two months I did 0.5. I went from 169 to 155 pounds.

Due to price, I switched to a compound and increased the dosage to 1.0. I've been on the compound for 6 weeks and have not lost anymore weight. I understand weight loss is a slow process but I find it odd that I haven't lost even a pound on the compound.

Do you think I should request the doseage be increased, or switch back to Wegovy?

WTF was that? How narrow was the aisle, like two feet? Did they not have a rehearsal the night before to test this kind of thing? Being late to your own wedding bc you’re having a mental breakdown, hiding behind your dad as he walks ahead of you down the aisle, being annoying during the ceremony, doing ballet at the reception, life-size cardboard photos, licking each other’s faces.

The wedding was tacky and gross.

For disputes, we have to submit to Ethoca first. They have 10 days to resolve and then it gets sent to DCI.

Ethoca seems worthless, IMO. It seems like they don't do anything and 9 times out of 10 it goes to DCI, who charges us.

I've literally never seen this drink on any menu, but I live in the Midwest so maybe that's why.

I'm curious to try one, but wonder if the bartender will look at me like I had two heads. Is this a popular-enough drink that most bartenders know how to make?

Is this some type of mental condition? Sensory issue? Must she touch every pillow? I can understand touching a pillow she's interested in, but it appears she just wants to touch all of them, regardless of whether she is considering purchasing them.

My favorite episode by far. I'm rewatching with my 23 yo daughter (her first time watching the series), and dang it, I always cry during it. Miranda getting the news about her mother's sudden death and feeling guilty bc she wasn't there when she passed. The store clerk acting like a mother. The priest messing up. Samantha initially showing no emotion and then breaking down at the funeral. Carrie walking with Miranda down the aisle, and they see Steve and Aidan.

And the final words, "After all, computers crash, people die, relationships fall apart. The best we can do is breathe and reboot."

Such a perfectly written episode.

The sandwich actually sounds like it might be good but this commercial irritates me so much that, out of principle, I refuse to order one.

I've been at my bank for 6 months and have accrued 8 vacation (PTO) days. My bank is telling me that I have to take at least one week all at once. Is this typical? The last bank I worked at before this was 20 years ago and it was never a rule. A coworker told me it was in case you're hiding something it will be easier to discover if you're not there for an entire week. I'm in Deposit Operations (back office)

We already know who has gotten married and who has broken up. It seems like it's more prevalent with each new season. Where is the mystery? I don't really look forward to the next episode bc we pretty much know who's married.
