Did my mom cause my oily skin?

Hi guys! For context, I am a 20 year old college student with extremely oily skin, and scarring in my face due to past pimple breakouts.

No one in my family really has oily skin or gets pimples like I do. They get bumps that just look like large mosquito bites, and are typically only blood and transparent-ish fluid 85% of the time.

My mom only ever taught me to wipe my face with warm water and a towel, so i thought that was all I needed in elementary school. When I got to middle school, my mom finally noticed how often I was breaking out in pimples, and got me the Neutrogena acne scrub with exfoliating beads. I was somewhere around 10-12 using this on my oily skin then she switched me to St. Ives till she heard all the drama about it in the mid 2010s.

After that, she had me try Cetaphil but I was struggling to use it every morning because I only ever really made time to brush my teeth and slap my hair in a ponytail. Then we went to CeraVe, and like I said I really don't make time for my skincare because I'm always super tired in the mornings.

I've started noticing how oily my skin gets in my sleep. Then how oily it gets after 1 hour after the few products I use in my morning "routine"(CeraVe acne control cleanser, vitamin c, and the PanOxyl moisturizer/sunscreen combo).

Overall my mom never believed me when I told her I thought it was the water messing up my skin, nor when I told her the exfoliating face scrub wasn't helping my skin.

The only things I can think of to cause me all the problem is either using the exfoliating beads on my skin way to early, or the water in the area I live in (southeast texas).

Is it too late to do something besides going to a dermatologist?

Scratched my skin too much because of the heat and sweat, now it looks like this

Does anyone know what this is and what should I do to make this disappear? It started because of the extreme heat lately. The area became really itchy and I kept scratching until it got wounded. After that, these tiny dark spots appeared.

is this a spider bite?

i didn't notice it there the few hours ive been awake because it doesn't hurt, i only realised as i was scratching my wrist and my nail somehow caught it. when i poke it, it feels denser underneath it.

just kinda odd, i tried posting this on r/whatisthis but it got taken down because it thought i was asking a medical opinion.. im just curious what it was and if my friend was right in guessing a spider bite, but it seems quite small so im not sure.

from Norfolk, UK, if that helps

Impetigo?

Trying to figure out what this is. 4 year old and 2 year old (pictures of each) both woke up with a blister on the right side of their face this morning.

ETA 2 yo has been sucking finger so some of the redness is dried/irritated skin from that.

Idk if this is the right place but I just pulled this white thing out of my forehead while cleansing??😭😭

I’ve literally never had anything like this before. It was like actually in my skin and there is still a bit of a bump where it was pulled from. Feels like string?

Searched it up and got different things like sebaceous filaments and grey hairs. Grey hair seems really unlikely considering I’m a teenage girl and this seemingly appeared overnight?

Idk any advice is helpful😭

What could this be? I get these rashes every now and then. They’re all on my legs but in different spots that don’t touch each other.

Red Rings on Either Side of Neck

I’ve had these rings on my neck for about a week. They aren’t particularly itchy or painful. They definitely weren’t there two weeks ago, and it’s a bit concerning. I’m seeing my doctor in a couple days, but I wanted to see if I could get any idea ahead of time so I don’t potentially spread anything.

Small, non-itchy red spots on arms that come and go and leave flat brown marks.

I'm 22yo female and I've been noticing these small red spots appearing on my arms for a long time now. They come and go in small numbers (usually only 3 or 4 active ones at a time)

They start out as tiny, slightly raised red bumps. They don't hurt, and they do not itch at all.

After a few days, the redness fades and they turn into flat brown marks/spots that take a while to completely fade away.. there are no other symptoms with these though

I noticed one on my stomach and leg as well..Is this something alarming?

I had a scab for quite some time but had attributed it to dry skin. It had recently just increased in size. Any idea what this is? Is this a fungal infection?

Rash identification help

Could use some help identifying this rash. The first photo is outer thigh the first day I noticed the rash, this past Saturday. Second photo is an accompanying (maybe unrelated?) rash in the inner thigh. Third photo is this morning.

As far as symptoms, I felt slight itching and overall swelling but nothing major. Earliest I could have been bitten by anything was this past Tuesday. I'm trying to rule out: spider bite, skeeter syndrome (I usually get hives when getting bit by mosquitos, but never had SS before), and crossing my fingers it isn't Lyme. I didn't see a tick but I know that doesn't mean much. I started doxycycline this AM as a precaution, Lyme test was negative but it's early days.

Also - I didn't outline but it seems the area isn't expanding (at least since the day I noticed it- it likely could have gotten bigger from day 1, whenever that would have been). First photo was at least day 2, up to day 3 or 4 after the bite.
