Pdg too low? TTC
Has anyone gotten a BFP with low PDG (purple) levels? Im 7/8 DPO and I fear im out this cycle and may need to get on progesterone the next cycle. Thoughts?!

Having many issues with Mira recently :
- despite a clear LH surge, it doesn’t detect ovulation until my next period starts
-I’m constantly getting messages after testing saying ‘ovulation may be delayed’.
- It feels that all the analysis is just wrong which is disconcerting when TTC.
- when I do reach out to customer service, they take over a week to respond or sometimes don’t respond at all. As the messages are in the app, I don’t get a notification that they have responded so have to check the ‘chat’ each day.
- Once my period starts, it seems to confirm ovulation the day after the LH surge. Why can’t it just so that once I get the Pdg rise? I already worry about ovulation due to PCOS
- As I get the results each morning, the messages on each result don’t seem to connect to each other (using ultra4 wands) (eg. One result saying ovulation is approaching, another one telling me I’m in menopause 🤦♀️).
- The last straw for me is due my FSH being low today (which I actually think is due to very dilute urine), it tells me that I should keep testing to support me through the menopause transition!bearing in mind I’m 34 and desperately TTC! Extremely distressing and I’ve had enough.
Is anyone feeling the same?
Is there anything out there that does similar to Mira? I already use natural cycles for BBT and use ovulation sticks during fertile window. But something that you can consistently test your urine to measure these hormones? TTC with PCOS.
Thanks in advance!
I’m 40 and planning to start trying for baby #2 next cycle, so fertility is already something I think about way more than I’d like.
This morning I did my Mira test (CD14). My estrogen is starting to rise, my LH is still low (which is normal for me because I usually ovulate around CD18–19), and PDG is low because I haven’t ovulated yet.
Then I clicked on my FSH result (6.6), and it said:
“Keep using the Mira 4 wands to track your progress through the menopause transition.”
What. The. Fuck.
I immediately spiraled. Is the app telling me my results suggest I’m entering menopause? Is this just some generic message? Why would it show that to someone who’s literally using the fertility setting and trying to get pregnant?
Especially because the messages on my other hormones were things like, “Your fertile window is approaching” and “Your E3G is rising.” So everything else sounded completely normal, and then BAM… “menopause transition.”
If this is just generic text attached to the FSH page and not actually based on my results, I honestly think they need to change it. There has to be a better way to word it. Women in their late 30s and 40s who are using Mira are already anxious enough without getting jump-scared by the word menopause with zero explanation.
Has anyone else gotten this message? Am I missing something, or is this just really bad messaging?
I just got this message from my Mira results today. Mira is telling me I’m transitioning to menopause randomly or is this accurate ??? I’m 35. On another note, I’m using Mira because I’m trying to conceive and it been a really emotional process. Getting a message like this is very upsetting and concerning. I hope this is not accurate.
Hi, can anyone interpret this chart for me? My progesterone shot up with what looks like an lh surge but I believe that confirms ovulation so did I already ovulate?
On letrozole 7.5mg day 7 and my estrogen is so high. Doesn’t seem suppressed at all?
First medicated cycle. 8th month actually trying with my ovulation back postpartum. I felt more hopeful this cycle as I’m on letrozole 2.5 mg. My E3G has improved, and my LH was higher this cycle too.. although it isn’t as sharp of a spike (preconception with my son, my LH would have a super sharp spike to 50+ and then back down immediately). Now it’s more dull. Well my pdg is actually worse this cycle than last. I got my serum progesterone drawn yesterday, CD 20/6 DPO because of the holiday and it was 10.1, whereas my pdg showing 7.1. Then it dropped down to a 2 yesterday. And only 3.5 today. What the hell? We’ve ruled out everything structurally that could be a problem. I had a full work up done last cycle and my ovaries and uterus look great, 9mm lining and I had a 23mm follicle at 1-2 DPO with free fluid. What gives? The only other possible thing I can think of is maybe my thyroid. In March my TSH was 1.8 and last month it was 2.9. The past 4 cycles I’ve had 4 days of spotting before my period which my doctor says is due to my ovulation not being as robust as it should be. Any advice or just support?im starting to lose hope and im getting more bitter. I know my body can conceive naturally, it did so with my son. Only 4 cycles trying and I wasn’t even taking that many supplements or doing as much to support my body through lifestyle. I’m only 30 and I have a normal AMH. I do have some baby weight to lose but I’m not obese, and I cook everything from scratch. I’m so frustrated.
My husband and I had sex during my TWW and I’m overthinking. Usually we have sex 2-3 times during this period and I worry every time. There is so much mixed messaging around it. Has anyone done this and still gotten pregnant? We’re on month 10 TTC (one miscarriage in month 5, plus a recently discovered autoimmune condition I just began treatment for).
I’ve heard people say sex can’t dislodge an embryo once it’s implanted. But I’m only 5-6DPO, so can sex prevent implantation in the first place?
“Keep using the Mira Ultra4 Wands to track your progress through the menopause transition!” ???
I’m CD5 and trying to conceive, this random messaging about menopause is unhelpful and entirely inaccurate.
This, coupled with all the emojis and little “you’re doing amazing, sweetie” type notes, is agitating.
Just feed me my data and that’s it.
I’m wondering if mira is usually accurate in lableing correctly what day ovulation occurred. did I ovulate on CD 26 like Mira says or is it CD 27 when my e3g plummeted to 88?
Im thinking it looks like an evap but idk help me out
I went through 8 cycles of letrozole cycles and was starting to lose hope because after our 9th cycle we would get pushed to IVF and after last week’s consult they told us the price would be between $18,000-$23,000. I started to feel stuffy and sick around CD 9 and decided to take a pregnancy test before taking some DayQuil and i got a very faint positive. This is now my CD 12 test, waiting to get my Beta hcg on Monday since it’s the holidays. But I just keep having this thought in the back of my head that one morning I’ll wake up and those lines will be gone. 😭 infertility really traumatizes you to the core.
Hi All, I’m 34 yo and I’m on 4th cicle trying to conceive 1st baby (2nd cicle tracking with Mira). This is my current Mira chart, what do you think about? I’m feeling light cramps and sore breast, I’ll test in about two days! I feel a bit nervous, I want so bad this baby :(
Hey everyone, sharing my journey in case it helps someone.
I have IR-PCOS and Hashimoto’s. My cycles were 45-55 days and mostly anovulatory. My doctor put me on Clomid then Letrozole — Clomid gave no ovulation, Letrozole my biggest follicle was 9mm. Both medications made my cycles significantly worse. I stopped both and focused on the root cause instead.
What actually helped: Metformin XR 1500mg, Inositol 40:1, optimizing my thyroid (TSH needs to be below 2.0 for TTC), and a full supplement protocol targeting insulin resistance. Three cycles later I’m ovulating naturally every single cycle.
What my data shows across 3 cycles:
Cycle 1: Ovulated CD13, LH peak 32, 14 day luteal phase
Cycle 2: Ovulated CD20, LH peak 44.5, PdG maxed Mira’s scale by 8DPO
Cycle 3: Ovulated CD19, LH peak 26.7, E3G peaked at 396 — strongest cycle yet
The stuttering follicle pattern: Every cycle my LH rises partially, drops back down, then surges properly days later. If you see this and have PCOS don’t panic — keep testing twice daily, the real surge will be significantly higher and sustained.
Mira FSH glitch: Mid-luteal FSH on Mira is completely unreliable. Mine hit 80.5 this cycle and 72.7 last cycle — menopausal range, obviously not real. I figured out it’s cross-reactivity with PdG. When PdG reads low, FSH spikes artificially. When PdG is high, FSH reads near zero. They’re on a seesaw. Ignore all mid-luteal FSH readings on Mira entirely.
Still in my TWW for cycle 3. If anyone has a similar experience with PCOS, stuttering follicles, or Mira quirks I’d love to hear — and any advice welcome 🤍
I work night shift and husband is blue collar so we are exhausted And try to BD when we can!! Twice in a few days is a lot for us lol. We only BD’d last night (night of surge) and 3 days prior to surge. do we have a good chance?
Today is DPO 12 and have been trying for 2 years. Is it just me or is it clearly a lighter pink positive?
I’m posting it here because I’m not ready to share it with anyone I know yet. I’m currently 12 DPO. I took my Ovidrel trigger shot on the 16th and had my IUI on the 18th. What do you guys think? Is there a possibility of false positive from Ovidrel?
For context, I also tested with Inito during the same cycle using the same first morning urine and on the same testing days. The hormone patterns were basically identical on both, so I don’t think the issue was the hormone detection itself.
My biggest issue was with how some of the insights were presented.
At one point, Mira flagged one of my fsh results and suggested it could indicate diminished ovarian reserve (I’ll attach the screenshot, recieved the same insight again. Also note that the screenshot is from my latest cycle). I completely spiraled after reading that. Later I found out that a single fsh reading isn’t enough to make that kind of conclusion, so the wording felt unnecessarily alarming.
The app also wasn’t my favorite. Syncing wasn’t always smooth for me, and I found things like the fertility score, conception chances, and changing testing schedule more confusing than helpful.
I actually think Mira did a good job tracking my hormones. Since it matched what I saw on Inito, I don’t have any complaints about the actual measurements. I just wish the app gave more balanced explanations instead of jumping to worst-case possibilities from a single result.
Did anyone else have a similar experience with the insights or was it just me?
Looking for advice regarding low PDG readings on Mira after IUD removal 4 months ago. I have had one successful pregnancy in the past (3 years ago) but I never tracked any of this back then, so don’t have a normal for myself to compare it to. My PDG has been all over the place the past few months, and I’m trying to figure out if I need to be concerned or just give it more time. Attached are Mira charts from my last 3 cycles; for context my doctor ordered a serum progesterone for this past cycle which came back at 11.6 8dpo (third image, same day as very low 1.5 PDG reading on mira). I also have very reliable bbt shifts and normal progesterone symptoms during my luteal phase. I’m tempted to stop testing during my luteal phase to avoid the anxiety, but want to make sure I’m it ignoring a real problem… Appreciate the advice!
