Low E3G ???

Low E3G ???

Is anyone else getting lower than normal E3G values? Last year, my E3G values were always in the normal range but for my last 3 cycles, they’ve been very low in my follicular phase. I’m wondering if it’s the new tests. If it’s not the tests and it’s just a me problem, I would love some reassurance that it’s still normal for E3G to be at 32 on cd10 😭 I’ve been really struggling with wondering what’s wrong and it’s stressing me out!!

Exhausted

Last cycle versus this current cycle. Currently CD30 with no signs of ovulation. E3G has been low all cycle and Lh is stuck in the middle - higher than it should be but not peaking. My cycle is usually 33-35 days long, so I should be getting my period soon or doing a pregnancy test, but instead I’m stuck in this confusing loop. I’m so exhausted of this. I’m also so physically tired everyday, fighting nausea and migraines and mood swings that I’m assuming is all hormonal. Would love some tips or reassurance if anyone knows what’s going on!

Is this normal?

Hi!

My numbers this cycle look a bit off and are starting to make me a bit nervous.

My PdG is much higher than usual and my E3G is so much lower. I do have PCOS and endo, so my numbers aren’t always perfect. However, my e3g has never been in the 30s and my pdg has always been around 1 in the follicular phase. My progesterone is always on the low side, even in my luteal phase, so it being this high in my follicular phase while e3g is low, is really confusing me.

I have a 33ish day cycle currently with ovulation around CD19. My numbers on CD12 were E3G=38, PdG=3.4, and LH=4.5. I’m so confused about why my PdG is high and E3G is low. I don’t test religiously (can’t afford to), so maybe I’ve missed similar numbers before, but it still seems weird to me.

I would love to get any insight into this. I’m really, really hoping I ovulate this cycle.

Gynaecologist recommendations in Melbourne

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a female gynaecologist in the Melbourne area (I live around CBD but can travel about 40mins out at least). I need someone who has experience dealing with both PCOS and endometriosis alongside infertility. I also have a history of repeated miscarriages, so I’m just a bit nervous finding someone who can really navigate my complex combination of issues. I’m not really ready to hit the IVF clinics yet and more so want to investigate what’s going on in my body and treat it first, while potentially trying medicated cycles.

I would really appreciate any advice and recommendations you may have!

Do I need a SIS or should I wait?

Hi everyone! Currently going through a lot (physically and mentally) and would love some help navigating next steps.

A recent ultrasound showed the following findings: “The uterus is normal. There is a central echogenic area measuring 7x3mm which may represent a polyp.”

My OBGYN said that it shouldn’t impact my fertility at the moment and that I don’t need to do anything about it and to continue trying. I don’t know if I feel 100% comfortable with this and was wondering if it’s worth it to get a Saline Sonohysterogram. I would be paying for it out of pocket so I don’t know if it’s worth it right now. I’m also more worried that if they do find something, I’ll have to pay for a hysteroscopy.

For reference, I had a MMC (aneuploid embryo) last November and had to have a D&C. They found the polyp on an ultrasound a few months after the D&C. I’ve also experienced much lighter periods since my D&C and don’t know if Ashermann’s could be a possibility. My period had been getting lighter before the pregnancy, so not sure if it’s just a continuation of that or if the change is due to something else. I do think it’s gotten even more lighter after the D&C though, but I don’t know if I’m being paranoid.

My OBGYN did not give me any other information about the polyp. From researching a bit, I’ve realized that location may play a part in fertility but again, there’s nothing about the location on the ultrasound report. I also don’t know what’s considered a big enough polyp that should be removed and what is small enough that it can be ignored/just monitored for now. I would love some insight on what to do and what other people recommend so I can push and advocate for myself if necessary!

Thank you!

Can’t tell if I ovulated. Would love some help.

Hi! I would love some insight from others who can help me understand whether or not I ovulated. I know that I had an LH surge, but I’m not sure if I had a sufficient enough PDG rise to confirm ovulation. The day after my LH surge, PDG rose to 6.1 but then fell and stayed around the 3 mark. Then at 8DPO it rose to 6.7, at 9DPO it rose to 8.5, and then at 10DPO, it started to fall again and was at 5.3. I never got a confirmation from the app either. It kept saying that I needed a rise for 3 days to confirm and it didn’t offer any more information. I’ve also posted what my PDG values look like compared to the median values of users post ovulation.

Also, just a side note, I wasn’t able to TTC this cycle so I’m not expecting any positives.

I would really, really appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Can I delay ovulation? Please help.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has been able to delay ovulation by a few days. My period started yesterday and it was a bit earlier than I was planning. For context, my cycles have usually been very irregular and long, but after my miscarriages they’ve started to get more regular. I thought I wouldn’t get it for another few days and planned TTC accordingly. I’m currently CD2 and expecting to ovulate around CD20 but want to push it to CD24 at least.

My husband and I are long distance and this is my first and one of my only chances to try after my miscarriage last year and I’m very desperate to at least be able to try this cycle. I need to push it just for a few days and don’t want to take any hormonal medication because I’ve heard that it can mess with egg quality/maturation and can impact later cycles as well.

I also don’t know if any of the supplements I’m taking have been making it more regular and if I should stop any of them during this cycle (vitamin d, vitamin e, inositol, magnesium, omega-3, NAC, CoQ10, and my prenatal). I would really appreciate any help! I’m willing to try anything at this point. Thank you!!

TW: miscarriages

Hi! For a little context, I’m in my 20s and have an endo and PCOS diagnosis.

My endo pain started around 6 years ago but it was very on and off. I’d experience really bad pelvic pain for weeks and then nothing for months. Then, about two years ago, it started getting worse and became more cyclical. It usually starts at around ovulation and ends when my period starts. My doctor only ever gave me ultrasounds which never showed anything and she refused to give me any more tests to help me get diagnosed even though she suspected it was endometriosis as well.

I started TTC in August and was very scared of what would happen because I have pcos, irregular periods, and thought I had endo. I was very lucky and got pregnant the first cycle trying. Before this, I had a chemical pregnancy in 2023 which I only realized because I was in so much pain and went to the ER. Anyways, this pregnancy ended at around 8 weeks after a missed miscarriage (due to chromosomal issues) and I had to have a D&C in November 2025.

Fast forward a few months, I started getting extreme sharp pains in my side. An ultrasound showed an endometrioma (chocolate cyst) measuring 3.8 x 3.2 cm on my right ovary. There is also a uterine polyp measuring 7x3 mm.

The ultrasounds just 1-2 months before this showed nothing out of the ordinary. The hormonal changes from the pregnancy and miscarriage obviously messed up things and worsened the endo.

What should I do now? Should I continue TTC or try and manage my endo first? I really don’t want to take hormonal medications because I can’t tolerate those well (history of depression). I know that surgery can increase my chances but I’ve heard that attempting to remove the endometrioma can also damage my ovary and hurt my chances instead. My doctors have also said that it’s not quite big enough that they’d want to do surgery, however, it showed up so suddenly that I feel like it’ll grow just as fast.

I’m just so afraid of wasting my time. And I’m afraid surgery might make things worse because even though I’m in pain right now, I can still manage it and live my life (most of the time). I don’t want the surgery to mess things up more. I also don’t know if I want to waste the time going through it and healing as the whole process can take months. It even took me much longer to heal from my D&C and even that has scared me from having anymore procedures. I’ve lived years with this fear and now, two miscarriages later, it feels like it’s getting worse instead of better. Ugh just confused. Specialist appointments take so long and I have nobody to walk me through this stuff right now.
