I am looking for a moisturizer that isn’t $40 dollars, hence the inkey list. I want an alternative to rhode barrier butter, one size hydrosculpt, and glow recipe oil free moisturizers.

It’s my turn for the cart review posts!! I love seeing/hearing everyone’s input and i definitely need some help narrowing my cart down. For reference I am very fair neutral but cool tones look best on me. Colors often pull warm/orange on my skin tone and I don’t love that. Thank you in advance!

90% of the time really separates on my skin and looks like I powdered my entire face (I use ZERO powders). It emphasizes my texture and dryness like crazy 😭

- Tower28 concealer
Lately it's been making my undereye a bit dry? Idk, I completely finished it. I remember slightly preferring Kosas' formula so I'll try that again

- Rare Beauty blush
Perfection no notes!

- Too Faced bronzer stick
I love, it's very pale though so I want a slightly darker shade for more glam

- Charlotte Tilbury setting spray
Lately this has been making me super shiny, so I'm buying Mac Fix it Matte too, I love that one

I remember preferring this one slightly over Tower28 because it's slightly firmer but still thin and hydrating so I'll try it again

- Natasha Denona foundation
She looks gorg for glam

- Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow sticks
I'm unfortunately lazy with eyeshadows for everyday and these look sultry 🫦 I don't have a problem with oily lids or cream shadows in general

- MBM lip liners set
I need more lip liners and I want to try out the formula and shades! But are these too similar to MUFE?

- LYS bronzer
I've heard many good things. This is a slightly darker shade for more glam as my current Too Faced is very light and more everyday

Only products Sephora doesn't have is the Mac Fix it Matte and the soon to be released Too Faced chocolate eyeshadow palette rerelease that I want to buy 🍫

Especially if you struggle with textured dry skin let me know what you thought of these!!!

I am considering the Ilia palette in botanical blur (vs the hourglass palette in wish). I am very fair with neutral undertones (I think?). Has anyone tried this? Or can anyone recommend another full face palette?

I used to do a wing every day but as I got older my eyelids sagged a bit so I stopped doing liner completely, but now I’m getting into eyeshadow and some looks I think look better with liner, so I want to pick up doing a small wing again. Thoughts on these ones? My eyelids are also oily but aren’t too bad since I conceal and powder them, but I do have watery outer corners so I think waterproof is best.

You have been very helpful with all your advices the previous time! So, if anyone has or knows which product could give the same effect it would be great!

i really want a true chocolate brown (not orangey/reddish at all) particularly in this lustreglass range..i was going to get uncensored but they reformulated it and idk why it sometimes looks warm to me in pictures/videos on social media while ‘i deserve this’ is supposed to be warmer as per the website’s description (which could be inaccurate) but it looks cooler and at times warm too (from what i’ve seen on social media again)🥲

unfortunately, won’t be able to visit a store..so if you can tell or swatch, pls let me know which one might be the right option for me or if any other shade is a better fit from this range!

i’m medium/medium to deep. my maybelline fit me matte + poreless foundation shade is 128 warm nude (kinda light but would look fine after oxidation so worked for me) and i’ve used fit me concealers mostly by mixing these two shades- 30 (honey, a bit lighter around my mouth) and 40 (caramel, helped in concealing the pigmented areas on face and undereyes).

I’m honestly not a perfume person at all, but I smelled Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit and I’m OBSESSED. This might actually be the first fragrance I’ve ever loved enough to want to wear regularly.

The problem is that it’s a cologne, and I really want something with better longevity and projection — ideally an EDP/parfum that gives me the same vibe but actually lasts.
What I love about Ginger Biscuit is that warm, cozy gourmand smell. To me it smells like a freshly baked Biscoff/gingersnap cookie — brown sugar, slightly dark molasses, candied ginger, cinnamon/nutmeg, caramel, roasted hazelnut, vanilla and tonka. It’s sweet, but not that super sugary/candy type of sweet. There’s something warm, spicy, buttery and slightly nutty about it that keeps it from becoming sickly sweet.

I also really like that there’s nothing noticeably floral, fruity or aquatic about it. I basically want to smell like a warm expensive gingerbread cookie lol.
Does anyone know an EDP/parfum with a very similar scent profile but much better longevity and projection? It doesn’t have to be an exact dupe, and I’m open to niche/designer/whatever price range if it’s genuinely close.

Basically: Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit, but stronger and longer lasting.
Would LOVE recommendations from anyone who has actually smelled Ginger Biscuit and can compare them!

What are your thoughts about this?

The "mini's" in the holiday set have the same amount of product as the full-size. Mikayla can't say that without letting her customers know she used bigger packaging so they'd buy a small amount of product. She charged them more money for 1 than for 2.

My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone, and quite sensitive. I tend to be more oily throughout the year, but my skin gets drier during the winter, especially when it’s cold and dry here in Korea. My complexion is light with a neutral undertone, leaning slightly olive. 🫶🏻

I already owned the ND one, I used it up, probably expired, but I loved it, so I need a new everyday/night palette, either buying that one again or the Mario

Which one is better?

I went to get my brows waxed at my local Sephora. As I was getting them done, I noticed the YSL cheek palettes at the corner of my eye and knew I needed to check it out when I was done. Through my service, two employees walked by and talked about how much they want the palette and how quickly the light/medium sold out. One of them said, “so what, are we getting them like two at a time or something?” And the other employee responded, “probably. We didn’t get many, but I think we’re getting more later.”

When my brows were done, I walked over and saw that they only had the medium/dark palette out, but I had to check if other sephoras in the city had some available after hearing they were getting palettes is small batches. Sure enough, another Sephora that’s actually closer to me (but doesn’t do brow services) had it in stock and I put it in my buy and pickup later cart soooooo fast. I’ve heard so many reviews that this year’s palettes are significantly better than last year and I really wanted it; so, if that’s how you’re feeling, be on the lookout!!!

Edit for those talking about price:

Honestly, if you’re using all the colors, which I am, it’s a massive savings if you look at the cost per ounce.

The palette is 5.7 oz total at $85 which makes it 14.91 per ounce.

One blush is only .21 oz which makes it 219 per ounce, meaning you’d have to buy 4.76 singles to get the same amount as the palette. So if you don’t love every shade in the palette, it would be worth getting colors you love.

I 100% agree that if you think you’re not going to use all the colors, SKIP. If you know you will, it’s an absolute steal based on the math alone.

Also it’s my birthday sooooo it’s treat yoself day for me ☺️

Added a reference pic of my hair! It’s naturally straight, and I don’t style it much beyond drying it or occasionally doing a blowout. I use Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner and Olaplex No 7 Bonding Oil, The oil is okay, but I haven’t loved it enough to automatically repurchase

It’s almost finished, so I’m considering Kerastase Elixir Ultime, Moroccanoil Treatment, or another bottle of Olaplex. What do you use and love? Open to other oils or serums too!
