Reglan nightmares?

I’ve been on reglan for almost a year now due to post-sugery gastroparesis ( I had my pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, and duodenum removed). When I first started taking it I dealt with horrible nightmares that went away after a few weeks but now they’re randomly back. They are so traumatizing some nights I just decide I’d rather suffer with my physical symptoms than deal with another round of the most horrific situations my brain can come up with to disturb me. Anyone else deal with this?

First day as a professional

Tomorrow is my first day as a professional cake decorator. I used to work in the psychology field. I have no idea how I even got here. (I actually do. It all started because I was inspired to try to recreate my mother in laws cheesecake and fell in love with baking.) I am so nervous, my “artistry” has been complimented a ton and my bosses have a lot of faith in me, so I should be confident. The trouble is my ADHD fueled decorating is probably much different than someone classically trained. I will also be the only cake decorator at my store once I’m trained. Please wish me luck and any advice from those in the industry is much appreciated.

Here are some of the cakes I’ve made :)

Bike etiquette

Just moved to Capitol Hill looking for advice on basic biking etiquette. I’ve never lived in a city before so I’m not really familiar on cycling rules and I don’t want to contribute to the stereotypical oblivious cyclist trope. Of course, if there’s a bike lane I know to use it, but is it a no-no to ride on the sidewalk in places w/o dedicated lanes? if so, how do I not get run over while biking in the street? Thank you!

New to the city: parking?

Looking for tips on parking my car as a new out of state resident in Capitol Hill. It looks like I need to get a WA license and plates before I can even apply for a zone permit. Any suggestions on what to do in the meantime so I don’t get towed? Don’t have access to my apartments parking lot. What’s the deal with those monthly parking garages? Worth it? Thanks!

The enormity of Ranier

EDIT: Rainer, Tahoma, etc.,

Just moved here yesterday after a grueling 7 day camping road trip and wow. I’ve seen glacier and the enchantments on this trip and nothing compares to the sheer ENORMITY (or rather “enormousness” as one commenter asserted, although I think that word sounds stupid.) of this mountain. Pictures will never do it justice. This city is just so cool.

Towing a Scion TC w a 2022 Outback Wilderness?

Forgive me I know absolutely nothing about any of this. My fiance and I are moving 1700 miles across the country. I just leased a 2022 Outback wilderness with a towing capacity of 3,500lbs. Could we use a tow dolly to tow his 2009 Scion TC (2,900 lbs)?

We’d really like to be able to do the drive together and not waste gas on driving his car too but I’ve also never towed anything and don’t want to fuck with my new cars transmission. Any help GREATLY appreciated.

My fiance and I, both 25, are moving to Seattle. We are stuck between Capitol Hill and lower Queen Anne.

About us/our wants:
-close access to nature
- walkable to grocery stores/shops
- not fans of loud noises all the time (currently live near a hospital and it’s awful)
- want to bike/walk/take public transit often
- aren’t big partiers/bar crawlers

We’d be moving to the more residential/quieter side of Capitol Hill btw.

We like that Capitol Hill has a wider variety of apartments for less money, access to the light rail and multiple parks nearby but I also have a job offer in UQA and the commute would be worse from CH. Also love the views in QA and the hill there doesn’t bother us at all we are very active people. Thanks so much!

Just what the title says. Looking for a 1br.

My brain is turning to mush. I am on a never ending loop within Trulia, zillow, FB marketplace, and apartments.com.

Someone please for the love of god put me out of my misery and tell of any good experiences you have had at apartments in any of these locations.
