Can I get my sex drive back?

Hello

I am (22F) dating a very sweet and caring guy (31M) for a year and a half, and over the time that we have been together I’ve noticed that my sex drive has almost disappeared. I used to enjoy sex and desire it, but now I rarely think about it or feel the need for it.

I’m in a long-distance relationship, and my boyfriend and I see each other every 1–2.5 months. Sex is very important to him, and when I’m not interested, he feels like I don’t want him anymore. I love him and I’m still attracted to him. Once we start being intimate, I usually enjoy it, but I almost never feel the desire beforehand. Only a little when I am ovulating.

He does try a lot to please me in every way possible, he brought toys and he caresses me so I will also enjoy all of this or feel excited to do it but it just ain’t there.

Did I put my sex drive on flight mode and now I am stuck here?? How can I change it. I didn’t use to be like that

I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you!

My mom’s Nespresso lasted nearly 20 years… has anyone beaten that?

Hello everyone! I'm new to this sub, but definitely not new to Nespresso.

My mom had the same Nespresso machine since 2007. I honestly don't think I've ever seen anyone else with that model, except for my aunt because they bought them together that same year. It was compact, simple, and did exactly what it was supposed to do: espresso and lungo. It never let us down.

The only issue started about two years ago. It still makes coffee, but it no longer stops automatically, so you have to press a button to stop the flow yourself.

About a month ago, for Mother's Day, I bought her a Nespresso Atelier. Before buying it, I spent quite a bit of time reading reviews here and watching YouTube videos because opinions seemed pretty mixed. In the end, I just wanted something that would let her make whatever coffee she wanted with the touch of a button.

She loves cappuccinos, and being able to make one directly in the same glass without using separate milk frothers or making a mess has been a huge plus. Ironically, she also has a CitiZ & Milk Limousine machine at her workplace, but she never uses it because she finds it too complicated.

So far, we're really happy with the Atelier. We like that it can make everything from a simple espresso to mochas and even hot chocolate.

The main thing we've learned is that you have to be careful with the amount of liquid in the glass because it can overflow. Our only real complaint is that the milk should ideally be at room temperature beforehand. We've found a workaround by running the hot foam program twice, but stopping before the milk gets too hot.

Overall, it's been a great upgrade for my mom, and after 19 years of loyal service from her old machine, I think it earned its retirement!

Has anyone else here still have, or used to have, one of the early Nespresso machines? I’d love to hear how long yours lasted and what was your upgrade!
