I’ve been doing injections since February. Rotating between my thighs and my stomach. (There is no way I can reach my arms lol). I haven’t had any problems with pain, just little pinches here and there. The stomach seems to be more sensitive whereas I usually don’t feel anything on my thigh.

Today I finished one of my vials and didn’t have enough for a full dose, so had to open a new vial and split my dose into 2 shots. No big deal, I’ve had to do this before.

My first shot was in my thigh. Very routine, no issues. I did my second in my stomach and holy cow the pain lol. So confusing because while it does pinch a little this was like a legitimate shot pain. Same size needle and everything. The medication itself didn’t hurt, just the needle. So random! Has this happened to anyone else? Hoping it was a one time thing and not psychological lol.

I started back in February on .25mg. Felt a difference in food noise almost immediately. It was a freedom I’ve never experienced before. Was losing weight nicely. Went up to .5mg and my BP dropped a little, so I went back down. Decided to try tirz and it didn’t do anything for me. Felt so hungry all the time, food noise returned. So after a month on tirz, I went back to Sema. Not the same at all. Im up to 1.7mg and the food noise is still unbearable. I’m hungry all the time. I think about food constantly and find it very hard to resist. I’m still losing weight as I’m tracking calories, but the main benefit I noticed in the beginning was the food noise and early fullness. Ever since I switched back to sema after trying tirz, it hasn’t worked in that regard at all. I know evidence shows that people need a higher dose once they’ve stopped and started but I didn’t expect it to just completely stop working. Especially after only one month of not taking it.

I tried googling and the answers were conflicting and confusing which leads me to believe I don’t understand pharma at all lol. Can anyone explain why this would or would not be the case? Hope this is okay to ask here.

I started back in February on 0.25mg. Felt some appetite suppression and noise suppression, then I made a dumb decision and after 2 months, switched to tirz. For me, that fucked everything up. Food noise and appetite were raging, even as I kept titrating up on Tirz. I decided to switch back to Sema, titrating up and up and up and NEVER FEELING A GD THING. I thought I had messed it up for myself. That these meds weren’t gonna work for me anymore. Today I finally got up to 1.7mg and YAY I FINALLY FEEL WHAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT. Couldn’t even finish my salad for lunch and I’m still not hungry for dinner although I know I need to eat SOMETHING.

I hope it stays effective at this dose as I really don’t want to titrate up higher. I think it’s possible me stopping and restarting made my body require a higher dose. Boooo.

I’m still about 10 lbs heavier than before I got pregnant but these jeans are forgiving and I’m so happy!!!

I’m currently on 1.25 mg. I was hoping ideally I wouldn’t have to have a very high dose, but I’m still getting food noise and finding myself overeating sometimes. I definitely get fuller faster, but my hunger rages at night. I’m trying to eat more throughout the day to possibly combat this.

I had planned to go up to 1.5 mg this week, but should I jump to 1.7? Like I said I’ve been titrating extremely slowly and am having a little bit of success but I am still really fighting the food noise. I find that when I first increase dose the food noise seems to stop for a week or so and then it comes back ever so slightly and just keeps building. I’m so afraid of going up too high too fast and ending up in the ER like others though 🤣

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Hallandale but alas they do not ship to my state. 🫠 would love to know if there is an action toward finding a second supplier for additive free sema (that ships to Alabama)

I use Trillium and they offer additive free through Apollo Care (have had great experience with Apollo), but with the last order I made, i was told Apollo stopped compounding Sema. Also saw some posts that were evidence of some issues with their quality control (never experienced firsthand but was horrified when I saw pictures lol), which tracked with the info that they stopped compounding it.

I was told by Trillium that I would receive meds from VialsRX instead, and they were transferring my prescription over. When my meds were delivered, it was from Apollo! Lolol the vials looked clear and fine, and since I’m familiar with Apollo I wasn’t too worried. I did reach out to support because I was confused as I thought they had stopped compounding. They said from their end I would still be getting meds from VialsRX. The very next day I received the meds from them as well! (Love Trillium btw). I’m happy for the extra meds but it has me wondering, where will my next shipment come from 🤔 lol according to trillium and other sources they’ve stopped compounding, did I just get the last of their stock? Am I crazy to still hope Apollo continues to provide my meds? LOL I love additive free and Hallandale doesn’t ship to my state.

Can anyone provide any clarification with certainty on the status of ApolloCare?

I was always intrigued by the notes of this one (I love pink pepper, ginger, pistachio, cocoa…) but kept myself from trying it because of how “basic” everyone said it was. (Like a boring vanilla).

Well I finally tried it and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised!! It’s such a spicy/sweet youthful scent! Kind of reminds me of Burberry goddess’s younger sister or something (without the lavender punch in the face lol).

I can’t stop sniffing my arm. I love the way it makes me feel like a pretty 20 year old on the cusp of 21 who just got out of the shower. 🤣

I can still smell it on my wrist the next day too! I encourage you to give it a try if you haven’t!
