When does empower send next dosage?

For those that have empower as the pharmacy, since they send on a monthly basis, how close from the 4th shot to the next vial 5th shot do they send? Do I need to do anything on the preventativeMD website or do they just send?

I am on a six month plan

A note to our customers: we're on your team

Hey All -

This is Brian. I woke up this morning thinking about some of the posts I've seen across reddit (not just ours) and I wanted to share this with you...

We are on your team. We are here to support you, fight battles with you, and problem-solve with you. And we can only do that by having a real conversation and understanding what you actually need from us.

I felt compelled to write this because a lot of brands are popping up and disappearing in this space, and you often have no idea who's behind them. So let me be clear about who's behind this one: me, front and center - investing in your experience and passing every saving I can to you. We're building a forever healthcare company. One that's still here in 100 years, with the same patient-centric core, evolving with your needs and direct feedback the whole way.

We're here to listen. Not to jump to conclusions or pass judgement. To hear you out and work with you. So if there is a problem, let us know. And if we don't get back to you right away, that was a mistake and oversight. We are not ignoring you....I promise. And when you bring us a problem to solve, we won't always have the perfect solution. But know that our intention, every time, is to work with you until we find one together.

This isn't AI slop. This is who we are at our core.

You can always ask to speak to me directly. I will always take your call, listen, and work to make things right. Just know that my team can actually often solve your problem faster and better than I can :). They are who I depend on and that is why I look for people to join the team who share my core values. But I am always here to listen. We all are.

I can preach this all day. But the only thing that actually matters is our actions. So call us out if we don't live up to it - right here, publicly, where everyone can see whether we follow through. This only makes us better. And for that I want to thank you.

First refill/Looking for guidance

This will be my first refill with PreventiveMD using Empower pharmacy.

The last day that I’m able to use my current vial is 9/3. To ensure Empower has my new vial here before my next dose (9/10), when do you suggest I submit my refill?

Maintenance dosing?

Do you allow staying on the current dose once a person hits their normal bmi? Some telehealth companies start lowering a person down. But others allow to stay at our current dose. For example I’m maintaining my weight at 15mg and don’t plan on going down anytime soon. I need to know if PreventiveMD will support what will work for me or make me go down dosage at a normal BMI after losing all the weight.

I am going to be switching over to compound

I don’t know if I’m doing this right, because I am new to Reddit. After doing a lot of research, I think preventive md will be my choice. All the good reviews, pricing, etc. My question is when I get my vials will they have on there how many units I need to take?

reddit.com

I’ve waited over a week and Empower didn’t even include my fucking meds

To say I am livid would be an understatement. They’re a pharmacy and they had 1 job. They sent syringes, all the paperwork, ice packs in the cooler & zero meds. I already contacted preventivemd but I don’t understand how you manage to fuck this up, especially after a long wait time. I’m ready to bail.

ETA/UPDATE Wow, they already got back to me. And yep, it was in the paper! Super impressed with PreventiveMD customer care & that they’re sending a note to empower about the odd packaging. I am leaving this up solely in case someone else has a similar experience and accidentally throws their meds away! I thought the meds were in the envelope based on the wording!!

Doses

Update. Already heard from support. Theyll note it to the doctor.

My mom just signed up for 3 month boudreaux. Nowhere did it give the option to go up in dose each month.

Where your medication actually comes from — my visit to Empower Pharmacy

Hey all,

Quick recap of a visit I think this community in particular will appreciate, since so many of you choose Empower at checkout and ask great questions about them.

Last Friday, I visited Empower's facility in Houston and met with their executive and commercial teams. I'm not just the founder here...I'm a patient, and my own medication comes from Empower. So this was partly a business meeting and partly me doing the thing I think anyone would want to do if they could: walking the floor of the pharmacy that fills their prescription.

What I saw on the tour: The facility is state-of-the-art...and I don't use that phrase loosely. I've been in a lot of healthcare facilities across my career, and the scale and precision here stood out the moment I walked in. Everything about the setup is deliberate: clean, organized, and engineered to do things right at volume, not fast and loose.

What stayed with me wasn't the equipment, it was the people. You can tell within about five minutes whether a team is going through the motions or actually cares. At every stop on the tour, the people I met cared about their job and the patients they serve. Not units, not orders. Patients. When the people filling your vial think that way, it shows up in what lands on your doorstep.

Between the setup and the team, it's easy to see why so many of you request Empower by name. This was seriously one of the most impressive pharmacies I've been in.

What we talked about: I got to share my take on where this industry is heading and what we're trying to build at PreventiveMD. I told them the same thing I tell you — there are a lot of companies chasing this moment, and we're trying to build the one your family can still count on in ten years. What struck me was how little convincing either side needed. Quality you can verify, pricing people can afford, access without gatekeeping, and real support when something goes wrong - that's their list, and it's ours. It's why they're one of the pharmacies you can pick at checkout.

What this means for you: practically, nothing changes today. But relationships like this are how we make sure the answers we give you about your medication aren't secondhand.

Happy to answer whatever I can about the visit. And if there's something you'd want me to look at or ask about next time I'm in a pharmacy we work with, tell me below — I'll bring your questions with me.

Bridge Program Acceptance

Hi everyone,

Today I was more than surprised when Lilly Direct notified me that I was accepted into the Medicare Bridge Program. After several denials due to mistakes made by my PCPs office with submissions they finally got the PA corrected. I had given up hope after two months of trying.

I'm thrilled but wanted to say that PreventiveMD was absolutely fantastic with every aspect of my order and if I have need again in the future I'll be heading their way. I really enjoyed chatting with you all and best of luck on your journey!

I'm currently taking tirz from Preventive. Question...has anyone bought and started NAD+ ? If so, have you noticed any difference in your energy and focus? Any side effects you've had? I'm really curious about NAD+ and wanted to hear other's views who have taken it. Thanks!!

UPDATE #1 08/17. Received an email stating my order is being prepared. States average processing times is 3-4 business days. Fingers crossed for delivery before the weekend so if I get bad side effects I’m not having to work!

UPDATE #2 08/19. Got a text message from Boudreaux this morning for the tracking number, shipped UPS. No estimated delivery date set yet!

UPDATE #3 08/19. Got an email from UPS at 11:30 AM stating my package will arrive 08/20 shipped next day air saver. Next update will be unboxing!

Can I signup now and delay the first fulfillment?

I am switching providers and want to go with PreventiveMD, but I still have 4 weeks of medication, can I sign up now and ask to be charged when I am ready to order?

Thank you!

I just received my refill check-in and wanted to express my gratitude to r/PreventiveMD for making everything so seamless. I am really enjoying working with you!

Also a huge thank you to everyone in the tirz communities for all the information I have learned!

(2nd order with them. I used Bourdeaux pharmacy; the first order I did not have any delays or issues with shipment/delivery, UPS made the delivery, 5 days in total from submitting my information to when delivery was made. I did use my own personal syringes that I purchased.)

(Edited to fix a spelling mistake.)

1st Dose and already a little comprehensive

Just ordered a 3 month supply last week, shipping from Boudreaux. My online portal said the shipment would be 1 day overnight and the tracking is showing it shipped USPS and will take 3 days to deliver.

What is the disconnect?? Not a good 1st impression. Guess we'll see when they arrive if they are hwarm

Empower Tirz

anyone had side effects ? I think it has niacin in it and I feel a little nauseous. I never had a side effect with Tirz before but it had a different additive

Update: I previously used Brello which gave me Compounded Tirzepatide With B6
(Pyridoxine) and I think it was south end pharmacy. I never had any side effects. This time I feel a bit weird and nauseous. Is it the Niacinamide (thanks for the correction) Maybe I should try a different one? I just liked not having the side effect. Thanks!
