My stack 😍
Maybe not Big Rock Energy separately, but it feels like it all together!

Totally kidding. Just something for your Sunday viewing pleasure. There are so many different styles and shapes and designs when it comes to bands, which is probably why I have so many 🤷♀️. But for real, I am an eternity band snob and if I have the choice, I will always choose that. I’m lucky that a lot of my finger sizes are interchangeable, but I do tend to buy things a half size bigger so it’s more comfortable when I stack them together. And if my fingers swell, I wear less rings and if it’s colder or they’re not swollen, then I will stack them with a slightly smaller band so they don’t spin or move. If I don’t do full eternity, my next preference is three-quarter because it feels more comfortable on my fingers than only a five or seven Stone. I hope everyone’s having a good day.!
I have no one to share this with and everyone here is so kind I feel like this is my place. Please indulge me.
I’m 58f and my bf is 66 and we have been planning to get engaged. We got the pre-shipment video. I’m so excited!
It is crazily wonderful. We are both widowed and have built this cool new life and family together. Our kids are so on board. I never thought I would be happy again.
I had a sparkle-bomb three stone ring made with my engagement diamond (1.05 ct) from my late husband and that ring makes me happy when I look at it - it was lovely to turn that into something joyful.
For this new stage of life, I couldn’t decide on the color and Bf suggested a blue diamond to represent the depth of his love. He wanted to get a bigger diamond but I paint and work in clay and I wanted a ring I would wear all the time. The band is going to be tricky. My old band was channel set and that was quite an adventure to clean .
It’s a little over 2 ct and set in platinum. I have no idea when the proposal will happen but I’m enjoying this time.
And I have no idea when he will propose . It’s exciting . I’m so happy.
This is my 4.52ct girly & sometimes I feel like she’s tiny. I know if I posted this in the regular groups I’d get bashed, so I thought here would be more appropriate 😂
How do people get anything under 4 carats? Shrinkage is so real 😂
I posted my engagement and wedding rings on Reddit almost 3 years ago and some people came after me with pitchforks and called my rings tacky. I'm elated to have found my tribe. ❤️
I bought myself a 15.07 ct fancy vivid pink SI2 marquise diamond to celebrate a year of strength and growth after losing my parents. I was worried about the clarity, but I fell in love when I saw the videos. The ring will live on my middle finger on my right hand, but I put all my rings next to each other for the photo. Inside is an engraving saying "I love you" and it's dedicated to myself as I learn about self-love and why it's so important. You'll also see my watch in this photo. Those tiny diamonds on a pink mother of pearl bezel were the very first diamonds I've bought myself. I've leveled up, and I'm quite proud.
Both pink rings are hard to photograph and are much pinker in real life. This is evident in my other posts, but it's hard to capture in the jewelry store.
Here are the links to the other posts, where you'll also see my husband's custom pink diamond ring and more photos of Chou Chou and Heavy Hatchling:

If you don't want to visit the other links, here are the specs for the jewelry lovers (from left to right):
Chou Chou (aka pink rock candy): 5.96 ct fancy vivid pink VS1 pear, two 0.5 ct fancy vivid pink VS1 round brilliants, about 1.04 ct of pink melee on the halo, hidden halo, and on the side profile, and two .01 ct rubies. 18k rose gold band.
Ken: She's just Ken! Anywhere else she'd be a ten! 🎶🎵 But here she's a 15.07 ct fancy vivid pink marquise SI2 on a 14k rose gold band. The bezel faces up white because of how pink the diamond is. I wanted to try out the bezel but it's... not enough for me. I'll be keeping the bezel but I'm planning on adding two small white diamonds on the side so it's a trilogy bezel with a tulip basket, as well as a thicker tapered band. Design suggestions are welcome!
Heavy Hatchling (aka big chonker): 9.24 ct I VS2 pear (our destination wedding was on 09/24), two 1 ct E and F VVS2 baguette side stones, two 0.25 ct round brilliants. 18k yellow gold band.
This subreddit is like r/bald but for big rock lovers. I'm glad we have this safe space. ❤️
Hi ladies! Loving all the rings on here they are so so beautiful 😍
So 9 years ago, we had my ring custom made. It’s a natural diamond , D colour, round brilliant cut with halo and the centre stone is 1 carat with pave bands. I’m a US size 4 ring finger. Back then, that 1 carat seemed substantial but NOW IT DOESN’T!
I am attaching a picture of my inspiration pic for the upgrade next year. I actually designed it using the jewellers website. This is a 3 carat lab diamond. Do you think I should go bigger, noting my ring size finger? Or does this work? I would wear it daily. It’s obviously a radiant cut with hidden halo and pave band. What do we think of the shape ? Will a radiant cut age well? As i said, I have a round brilliant at the moment and it feels so boring and dated 😩
Note to add- it’s taken some convincing of my husband because he doesn’t understand why I want a lab when my “natural” 1 carat rings cost a lot back then. My argument is I don’t care if it’s a lab I want BIGGER. The 1 carat just doesn’t look substantial now and I’m allowed to want bigger.
4.3 elongated cushion :) 4:1 ratio. Only thing better than the ring is the man that made it happen 🤭
I believe this beauty belongs here! What do you guys think? The center stone is a 7.25 Dutch Marquis. I've been in love since I first saw it 😍

Need help choosing a setting for my 5 ct round brilliant 💍
After what feels like endless research, I’ve finally picked my diamond:
5.00 ct Round Brilliant (lab grown)
E Color
VVS1 Clarity
Ideal Cut
Excellent Polish & Symmetry
IGI Report: https://www.igi.org/verify-your-report/?r=LG_792631924
The diamond will be price matched to the lowest price I’ve found ($1,141 from William & Sons), so now I’m just trying to decide which setting to pair it with.
Here are my top three (all prices below are the total cost, including the diamond):
1. Adiamor – $4,355
https://adiamor.com/your-setting?setting=R3138-Plat-Round&diamond=D-80328019
2. William & Sons Jewelers – Fiona – $2,501
https://www.williamandsonsjewelers.com/us/products/fiona-accent-diamond-engagement-setting
3. Rare Carat – Skyler Rolled Pavé – $4,774
https://www.rarecarat.com/setting/170-Skyler-Rolled-Pav%C3%A9-Engagement-Ring-SideStone/1835656?sp=/diamond-search
Since the stone is fairly large, I’m looking for something timeless, elegant, and secure that lets the diamond be the star. I’m planning on platinum.
A few questions:
- Which setting do you think complements a 5 ct round best?
- Is the Adiamor or Rare Carat setting worth paying roughly $1,850–2,300 more than the William & Sons setting?
- Does one look more durable than the others for everyday wear?
- Are there any red flags with any of these designs?
- If you own one of these settings (or something similar), how has it held up?
I’d also love to hear if you’d recommend a cathedral vs. non-cathedral setting for a stone this size, or if there are other settings I should consider.
Thanks in advance! I’ve stared at these for so long that I can’t tell which one I like best anymore. 😂
I've always been an oval girl, but the pillowy cushion corners are so cute!! And the open OMC windows are to die for. I paired it with a round 2mm peridot half eternity band as it's my husband's birthstone and I love their grass green color 🫶
I think I'd like to upgrade the stone size on the band so it holds up better against the other ring though! 2mm matches the side stones, but guess i forgot.. more is more!
Just wanted to share my ring set as well as what my fiancé’s ring is going to look like!
Mine is a 3.55ct F VVS2 and his is a 2.03ct VVS2 Fancy Vivid Blue!!
I think they turned out amazing! Both are/will be set in continuum silver with us discussing an upgrade to platinum a few years down the line! I think they match very well!!!
When you want something nice a simple so this beautiful oval shines- but the need to stack keeps taking over 🤪. Oh well. We like what we like 💁♀️ hoping everyone enjoys their weekend!
5ct Fancy intense yellow oval, paired with my 2 original wedding bands (aweee☺️) I almost left it at that, and then thought, who am I kidding 😂
After much experimentation with moissanite, I knew at some point I wanted to get a diamond. I am so pleased that it turned out exactly as I wanted it. My vendor options were limited because of my location but I found the most amazing vendor on AE. They sourced a beautiful stone and held my hand every step of the way. The ring setting, stone proportion and entire feel of the ring is just perfect for me, I love it so much.
It's a 5.07 carat, E, VS1 ring in 18k gold and platinum prongs and basket. My ring size is 7 but I got the wrong in 7.25. First time I ever got a euroshank in a ring and goodness it makes such a great difference.
I also got the diamond band from them, its a stock ring in 10k yellow gold, the plain gold band is my original wedding band from 12 years ago, it's 18k gold.
It's an open gallery ring, I know this is not for everyone but that is exactly what I wanted, I already own three rings in that setting, it doesn't bother me in the least, I love how it's low and I can't stack any band with it. My bands do not touch the diamond at all and I got the diamond band in bezel setting as further safeguard that diamonds.donr touch or scratch.
Sorry for the long text and the many photos!, this makes me so happy. Shout-out to AEAW on AE, you did amazing and I am so pleased
Is this even considered big??? 🤣
Because I’ve seen some RANGSSSS on this thread 😍😍😍😍
Anyway, I love it! 🥹💖
Something is off with this set but not sure what
Finally got my self designed engagement ring. I am in love but I’m wondering if it looks good with my anniversary band and my wedding band, only one, or neither!
Anyone have a favorite stone that just speaks to them??
