New occupation//Tuition doubts

Hi! I’ve done a lot of research and asked questions on this Reddit page, and I’ve been hearing from many people in the OT field that taking on over $100k in tuition debt for an OT doctorate may not be worth it compared to the salary afterward. I’m currently feeling really stuck and unsure what to do. I live in Hawai‘i and unfortunately can’t relocate out of state for school, and my state only has one OT program, which is a private doctoral program with very high tuition. I’m also almost finished with my bachelor’s in pre-OT and only have about a year left, so it feels scary to change directions now after already investing so much time and money. Growing up, I always dreamed of working with children and helping teach/support them in a way similar to teachers, which is what originally drew me to OT. When I first discovered OT, it honestly felt like the perfect fit because it combined so many things I love. But now, after hearing so many professionals talk about the debt to income ratio and the financial stress from loans, I’m starting to question whether pursuing OT is the smartest decision financially long term. I’m just looking for honest advice from people who have been in similar situations. If you were close to finishing ur degree but felt uncertain about taking on large loans for OT school, what would you do? Are there related career paths you explored, or do you still feel OT was worth it despite the debt?

3rd year pre-ot undergrad thoughts

Hi! I’m a 3rd year undergrad student majoring in pre occupational therapy. I was originally majoring in elementary education then made the switch to pre ot. I always wanted to become a teacher but ended up switching to ot since it was similar in a way but a mix of healthcare/teaching and I still get to work with helping kids. It’s almost time to apply to grad school so I just want to hear people’s opinions. I live in Hawaii so everything here is expensive and I believe OTs here don’t make much. The only school we have on island is for a doctorates degree therefore tuition is 100k. I’m not picking OT as a profession because I wanna make money but because it was a job that was a mix of what I wanted to do when I grow up. I don’t see myself moving out of Hawaii any time soon so Im questioning if OT would be okay. I also have a health condition so I don’t really wanna be overworking myself to make a living and pay debt. I see so many cons vs pros on Reddit so I don’t know what to believe. Anyone have advice?

Hi! After so many tries of trying to find my perfect shade match in my foundations and trying every single undertone. Buying foundations but it looked too dark, too orange, too yellow, too light, and ashy. Returning foundations after buying them but no foundations matched and just took my loss and wore foundations that didn’t really match. I think I have found my right undertone, Neutral peach undertone. Anyone know any great brands with neutral peach undertone foundations? I don’t see many?
