Help with Fenty Beauty products for a Neutral to cool leaning Olive ( muted)

Hiii !👋🏻😊 Fellow Cool leaning Neutral Olive ( light to medium - medium) this side. I think I've never been this excited for a launch during an incoming festive week. I've been saving up for Fenty products that I had been eyeing for awhile now. For refrence Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin foundation in shade 11 N ( it looked olive and the formula was beautiful but was a hair light) worked for me while I was testing it in stores on my trip out, Nars products were golden on me ( Punjab was too light, Vanatu seemed too warm inspite of the sale's associate claiming it to be perfect for me).

I really want to get atleast two good products from Fenty Beauty. I'm hoping to go for their foundation and lip gloss bomb or gloss ( not the plumping one) along with their blushes possibly. I'm not sure if this is the renewed formula. Can anyone please help me to pick out the right one or atleast the one that works for my skintone and undertone .

For context I have combination skin so I need the blushes to have some longevity though I'm not a matte preferring person. The last two images are of my skintone in different indoor lightings since I am morphing into my winter shade eventually but I'm still in light to medium spectrum while leaning into medium. Also I love the shades of all Fenty lip products but specifically for the glosses I've heard that they have zero longevity. Is that true? If someone has used them which I'm sure most of you must have then please review them too! I'm in desperate need for one so that I can actually compare and go for a blind buy since I can't go to the store due to an upcoming surgery too ( dw I'm good presently (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ) .

I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions and any recommendation from other fellow Neutral Olives, Cool Olives and muted Olives would be gratefully taken into consideration. I really want to get something before they go stock out so please help me out Olive Diva's. 🫒🥹💕🌻

Thankyou so much for all your help.✨🌞🩷

Experimenting with makeup (blush theory) on my Neutral Olive skin 🤝✨✅🧪

Hi!✨🦋 I'm a light to medium depth, Cool leaning Neutral Olive. 🫒✨🩷 😁

I've been trying to experiment 🧪 each day on my Olive skin based on co****lour theory to discover shades that actually work for me so that while shopping I actually find something that works for me!

Mostly, shades tend to look very different on my skintone and undertone or merely too bright. It took me awhile to discover that my cheeks are muted but my lips can handle somewhat medium saturation in terms of the shade. Lipsticks basically look orange or just too bright on me sometimes. I usually go for Rosewood, berry tones and plummy shades since they work for me, slightly muted plum shades is like my version of a red lip on me since every other red seems too different on me. I'm presently in my summer shade but this was so much fun! Working with shades and basically creating them using the basic lip palette while even mixing deep grey brown taupey shade to provide it with muteness. I was sceptical but overall throughout the time it turned out so good!

( The lighting does lean warm slightly)

1) The first 5 slides:-

I've used the same shade on my cheeks and lips while being bare faced and have attached swatches too with intensity and sheered, both on wrist and the back of my hand in different lightings too.

2) Slide 6-8 (Rosewood)

This is like my version of a Rosewood shade on me since most of them do lean warm toned. I think this turned exactly how I wanted it to be thankfully!

3) Slide 9-11 ( muted purple blush) 💜

I was basically excited 😆 and wanted to experiment with a muted purple blush on my Olive skin before actually getting one. I did have my eyes on Rare Beauty spirited and encourage so I wanted to get an idea how it might look on me. I created this shade on my own too with mixing the pigments and used it both on my lip and cheeks apart from swatching it. Safe to say, Olive approved. ✅

4) Slide 12-14 (Unsuccessful attempt of creating a Mauve blush)

It might have turned into a transition shade and almost too muted but I think I did like it, especially with the eye makeup I was going for later.

5) Last 3 slides

I was really sick here but I was trying to create a pink dusty blush shade that actually looks like a true pink on me. It was beautiful but I think a little too red though basically setting it with powder later did mute it slightly. I was even surprised that how green my palm was even looking based on the olive cast of my skin since I'm so used to only catching it on my face and arm lol .

Thank you for reading this longgg post. I'm just glad that I could share it in detail with all the fellow Olives.

As an amateur I'm not really aware if this is good enough but I do loveee it.

Please do let me about your thoughts and opinions along with makeup recommendations too! ( I'll be EAGER to know) or even constructive criticism along with advice to fix any minor tweaks. I've always seeked the Olive Divas for all their wonderful advice . Do help out a fellow Olive. 🥹🙏🏻🩷✨🌻

Type me please! I'm in literal need of help 🥹🙏🏻😁💕

Hi! 😊👋🏻 I'm definitely new to the community and I've been wanting to discover the clothes that actually work for my body type. I'm in the theatre club🎭 so I am trying to work with the outfit that I'm making for myself. I have seen that drapes somewhat work for me apart from open necklines. I think that I do have broad and blunt shoulders apart from the curve.

I do belong to 5'6 category and medium to long skirts work for me, that's another thing that as you can tell I haven't tried shorter skirts at all. I have been troubled for the longest time to actually figure things out, I suppose that I might be a SN but then I found myself thinking about SC category too but I wasn't really sure. Anything too low around the waist is definitely not made for me and does provide some weird emphasis. I'm a size medium .

I made and assembled most of my outfits myself.

*Personally I love anything that has anything soft or dreamy also another thing, long and extremely clingy dresses with no waist definition don't work for me at all. I'm even considering buying a good pair of jeans since usually I'm a high waisted jeans and a button up blouse person too or maybe just with a t-shirt sometimes, though I have to say they usually settle around the bust or merely are a little constricting around my shoulders. I'm definitely not petite and do feel comfortable in my tailored clothes or even coat around winters. My room is a bit of a mess due to some hectic schedule lately but rest assured, it's NOT a disaster. I've been wanting to try actually bootcut, flared or wide jeans but really not sure yet again that which one will flatter me the most and I do want to dress up according to the kibbe type.*

I would love some help. Thank you so much to all the Diva's out there for their help! 🥹🪩✨🤝🩷

Need immediate help in choosing the right complexion products as a Neutral Olive 🫒✨

Hi!✨🌷👋🏻 I'm a Cool leaning Neutral Olive and I'm somewhat MUTED 🫒✨. Just like all my fellow Olives I've had a hard time finding a one done deal complexion product for myself especially considering that I'm OLIVE. I've specifically heard a lot of rave about this exact product and it finally did launch in my country. I've been dealing with some hyperpigmentation due to previous acne flares but I'm good now. Slide 14 is basically to show my oliveness incase it wasn't evident enough due to different lightings.

Product experiences :

Maybelline Lumi Matte foundation in 310 P - As you can see it's actually pretty orange but at the same time grey against my skin, it might look okay against my wrist since it's lighter than my actual skintone but this wasn't a good match plus the formula did break me out despite their claims.

Maybelline Instant age rewind concealer in Caramel - I think back when my skin was more red due to acne it was pretty good to colour correct and even act as a concealing base apart from the depth match though it was a hair too dark but presently it's too goldeny/ orangey warm on me. I don't use it anymore but I do keep it since it was my first ever makeup product that I got for myself back in highschool with my own money.

Maybelline fit me concealer in 25- The formula was absolute trash and too matte for me. I saw a post awhile back saying that Cool leaning Neutral Olives or neutral Olives should use more of a yellow leaning concealer to correct the oliveness and seamlessly brighten up the under eyes but clearly this didn't work for me and was light for me in terms of depth apart from being too saturated for me. I merely use it as a base for my eyeshadow or merely using it to mute down the lipsticks or the blush slightly.I guess this is the concealer that really pushed me to get myself something for true spot concealing apart from a good complexion product. I've used it in the slides 12 and 13 previously so that the undertone mismatch can be seen.

I usually work with a peach colour corrector but presently I'm having a very hard time to actually get something to spot conceal and presently I don't have the Nars soft matte pot concealer budget though it's tempting and most of the other stuff is usually warm or saturated yellow on me. If someone has tried this concealer for spot concealing then what's their experience and as a matter of fact what other products do other Olive twins like me use!? I'm curious and in desperate need of help considering due to my post depression phase ( I'm all good now!) I did ended up getting some hollows apart from pulling all nighters.

Also for some reason I'm somewhat confused about my depth since the Olive cast literally usually tends to make it different in various lighting but also it's due to seasons too. I've attached images from present in terms of shade depth during Summers in the later images so do help! I've heard good reviews about this and for my combo skin which is usually sensitive or even prone to breakouts during Summers I would like somewhat of a saviour apart from my skincare. I'm not a too matte girly since it tends to feel dry but I have my faith in K-beauty apart from dual ended formula and possibly this one not breaking me out.

Please help me out with picking up the right shade apart from getting a review about this from other Olives too. I don't want to accidentally get anything too light or too dark apart from wrong undertone since I'm somewhat torn between going for Olive or just neutral undertone all together. Also if you have a match then what other products do you tend to use? I'm SAT for this one.

Please be kind and feel free to share your thoughts, recommendations and reviews. I would LOVE to know and do help me out fellow Olive Queens and Kings!!! I have faith in all of you. Thankyou for all the help and tips that have been kindly shared with me apart from laugh and giggles on this sub too. Ilyasm🫶⭐🩷✨🌷

Hi! A fellow Cool leaning Neutral Olive here✨🩷 😁

I've never really tried a Soft Glam look on me and it's the first time I've tried it! As an amateur I'm not really aware if this is good enough but I do loveee it.

The base does look different in different lightings and I'm aware of it since I'm wearing my winter shade which has gone light on me though I did try to fix it with contour subtly or even with blush and as an acne prone sensitive skin girlie I've never really went for full beat makeup before this is my attempt lol and especially without glasses. Ig the slightly blurry shots since I had been writing alot earlier so my hands were a bit shaky.

It's been a bit of a struggle since my undertone does lean cooler around the winters while being more Neutral Olive around the summers. I've been trying makeup looks to find my signature look that would suit me or is tailored to my features when I'm really going out! . I've been influenced by all fellow GORGEOUS Olives posting their makeup looks and I adored it so I gave this a shot.

Please do let me about your thoughts and opinions along with makeup recommendations too! ( I'll be EAGER to know) or even constructive criticism along with advice to fix any minor tweaks. I've always seeked the Olive Divas for all their wonderful advice and help so do help out a fellow Olive. 🥹🙏🏻🩷✨🌻

Also let me know if anyone wants to know about the products! I'll be happy to help and I am counting on my fellow Olive Queens and Kings. Ilysm and thank you all for the prior help or even recommendations.🌺🩷🌷💕

Products used are :

  1. Maybelline Lumi Matte foundation in 310

  2. HUDA beauty easy bake powder

  3. Maybelline white cream eye pencil

  4. Elf putty blush in carribbean ( slight highlighting blush) and Tahini ( for base)

  5. Fenty Beauty contour stick in Amber ( very slightly warm but works better than Rare Beauty one for me)

  6. Nyx Butter bloss in Praline ( very subtly used for the lips)

  7. Elf camo corrector in Peach ( for colour correction)

These products don't break me out so these are the one's that I use!

Hiieee!!! A fellow Olive here! 🫒✨🌷 I'm a muted Cool leaning Neutral Olive and I'm still transitioning to my summer shade but I just wanted to share this lipcombo thank whosoever recommended it to me on this sub .

🥹🫶🩷

It's basically:-

Maybelline lifter liner in Let's Bounce ( very slightly warm on me and I only got it recently)

Elf water tint in Plums Up ( very slightly used for a flush of colour and lasts long too)

Elf putty blush in Carribbean used in centre and a little goes a long way since it's very pigmented.

It's not exactly red on me but I feel it's the most flattering shade I've had on me and brightens up my face and it's PERFECT. It doesn't look like dry and flat matte on me which I hate and have my dry lips protesting too but this feels good and does not cling and lasts so long too. I've taken shots in different lighting while being barefaced ( I'm dealing with my Hyperpigmentation too) and from both front and back camera to truly show the colour. I never thought that I'll find such a good drugstore lipcombo. I hope this helps somebody out there! 🩷✨

I've ordered the Clio lip and cheek Blush in bunny tongue which has been infamously used by Nina Park for her makeup looks and I'm hoping that it works for me. I've also been on a hunt for other Neutral to Cool muted holy Grails or atleast Neutrals that aren't warm so they work for me throughout the seasons. I will share my thoughts on it once I get it.

I've been wanting to try the Olive foundations and I feel like the new Mph serum foundation in 130 O , Wonderskin foundation in Tan Olive ( though it's on the medium depth side and sadly not available in my country), GA Luminous skin Silk foundation in shade 6 , Rare Beauty true to myself soft matte foundation along with Ilia concealer and even complexion stick in the Olive shades though I'm confused which one to actually go for

Please feel free to share your recommendations or other olive finds since it's a bit hard to discover for my muted Olive skin so please help out a fellow Olive 🥹🙏🏻🩷. Do let me know your thoughts on this lipcombo Olive Queens and Kings out there and let me know your other recommendations or atleast what works for you since I would LOVE to know.🫒 ☺️✨🙏🏻💕
