After watching BoMB, and then Roger meeting his dad when he traveled to the wrong time to look for Gem… I was hoping that somehow, either through Frank’s book or Roger and Buck’s adventures, Claire would somehow find out that her parents were travelers. There were so many connections between the Beauchamps and the Mackenzies (of which Roger is also a descendant), that I really thought they’d tie this in and Claire would learn about her parents fate.

But alas, it wasn’t the case. And at least we have BoMB season 2.

Also some other miscellaneous thoughts on the last season…..
- Maybe the Faith storyline was the prove that Claire had healing powers
- Fergus’s death was completely and entirely unnecessary, although it’s better than the book alternative IMO
- Storyline of Marsali selling Fergus’s land was never tied up? Why even bring that up in this season?
- What happened to the preview scene of William on Kings Mountain? I thought he was there to help Jamie or to be there for Jamie’s death, but his story completely ened? Was that one of the alternate endings that they filmed and didn’t air? Would have been a great storyline IMO.
- Am i dreaming or was Lord John in a redcoat last episode and then he was never even mentioned in the finale?

I’m wondering if anyone else had this thought process…….

When Briana was first pregnant with Jemmy it seemed to be around the time she was 🍇 ‘d by Stephen Bonnet. When Jemmy was born he had straight blonde hair and didn’t seem to resemble Rodger, it made me wonder if Jemmy maybe was SB’s offspring.

But then I recently read the thread about Jemmy & Faith being unable to touch the gemstone because they have 2 parents who are travelers, and this got me thinking….

My question is do you think the producers and/or DG wrote that in to ultimately show that yes, Jem is Rodger’s son. I haven’t read the later books only the first few so not sure if DG addresses this in the books.
