Honestly idk (26F) what community to put this in but someone (25M) I’ve been getting to know for 2 months had a baby 2 weeks ago. He told me he barely knew his baby mom but then said that he knew he didn’t want to be with her before the baby but she didn’t know she didn’t wanna be with him until after the baby and now the baby is here. Anyways, He’s been able to maintain consistency with me and spend 2 days with me In The last two weeks not to mention ft, texting etc. There’s a lot of qualities I admire about him and I like spending time with him. Were to the point where now when we hangout we linger and have been talking about spending the night (we’ve never had sex only kissed and I don’t plan to have sex with him until we’re together or close to that point) But he briefly mentioned to me that the BM is in the hospital for postpartum symptoms and I just think that although I wish this wasn’t his reality (baby with someone he’s not in love with) that he should be trying to support the BM more…idk. I hate that she kept the baby when this guy doesn’t want her at all but I also hate that she doesn’t have much support… he does a good job with the baby from what I can tell he does his part but doesn’t go beyond that. Idk. I empathize with her slightly knowing she’s in the hospital and he laid her down gave her a baby and isn’t in the hospital with her
