Our cat is stuck in the ceiling between the floor joists. We’ve cut a hole and can see him he’s just too far back to do anything. We’ve tried food, water, treats and other methods of coercion but to no avail. We’ve tried animal control to see if they could maybe drag him out with their tools but they said it’s too much of a risk and could break his neck. Any ideas on how to get him out? We tried scaring him out with a broom but he thinks he’s just getting pet and starts rolling and purring
