family found a baby possum last night and we can't take it to a rescue until tomorrow. what should i do?

last night, my family’s dog started going after a fully grown opossum. she got away, but they found one of her baby’s in the dogs mouth(pictured). that’s why this baby looks so slobbered. currently have him in a box with water and on a heated sock with rice. he is able to walk normally and i don’t see any visible injuries. since it’s sunday in mexico, there is nowhere open to take him. what can i do to maximize his chances of survival until tomorrow? he is four inches long from nose to rump ☹️
