Change in patch brand and return of symptoms
Wondering if anyone has seen a difference with a change in patch brands? I started HRT in early February with 100mg progesterone and .05 patch (Mylan brand) 2x per week. I felt sooooo much better nearly instantly. Picked up my rx at the pharmacy a few weeks ago and they gave me the Sandoz brand patches, same strength. They are a little stiffer and after the first one fell off I’ve been putting a tegaderm over it which I did when I first started with the Mylan brand because I was paranoid it would fall off.
I’m having symptoms creep back in (anxiety, worse sleep, brain fog, blind rage lol), and I don’t know if it’s the change in brand or just the fact that it’s been a few months and I might just need a bump up in estrogen. Any experience with different results with different brands? Or do I ask my doctor to up the estrogen?
