Hi all, I know budget laptop questions get asked a lot, but I guess that's actually part of the problem. Every time I think I'm close to deciding I read something that puts me off. Basically, console gamer here (sorry), I'm trying to find something that will do me for some of the independent horror games I see on PC only, and my wife for games like the Witcher or the Sims when the little one goes to bed. I might occasionally play a bit of COD on it but I do usually play that elsewhere. I might want to play AAA titles on it one day, but I understand I'm never gonna get what a PC or top end one would give me.

I'm stuck. I don't know too much about PC gaming but I would pretty much like the most bang for my buck. My budget is around £1000, or $1300 dollars I guess.

I've seen the following, and read some stuff about them too.

ASUS TUF A16 Advantage Edition 16" Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7, RX 7700S, 1 TB SSD - £999

*Good all rounder but apparently the RX7700S can't punch as hard as a Nvidia RTX 4s nevermind 5s.

MEDION Erazer Deputy 15 P1 15.6" Gaming Laptop – Intel® Core™ i7, RTX 5060, 1 TB SSD - £999

*"Don't buy a MEDION" is what I see. Spec looks better than the first but I'm put off. Won't last apparently.

Lenovo LOQ E 15.6in i7 16GB 1TB RTX5050 - £949

*Can't really find any reviews on this specifically but it seems LOQ have fan issues? Get very hot. But that is a consideration on all I guess.

I've looked at Acer Nitro but can't find anything with a 1TB SSD and 512 just seems small. Also read mixed things on these too.

Honestly I'm a little stuck so any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.
