To me this seems fitting especially with social media it seems fitting that a group of people would be investigating the doctor. Obviously the episode was not a hit but why do they need to have a monster in the episode? Surely a plot about having people in organisations such as UNIT betraying The Doctor would make far more sense. I guess I am spitballing but let me know your thoughts
