Genuine question, not trying to bash Getida — they do solid work.

But with the March 2025 change where reimbursements are now based on manufacturing cost instead of selling price, the math has changed.

Example: you had a product that sold for $40, cost $8 to manufacture. Old policy: Amazon reimburses ~$35. Getida takes $8.75. You get $26.25. New policy: Amazon reimburses $8. Getida takes $2. You get $6.

Plus Getida focuses mainly on lost/damaged inventory.Fee mismeasurements (wrong weight/dimension tiers) usually require manual detection and filing.

Curious how others are handling this now. Still using Getida? DIY? Something else?"

Just want to make sure people are aware of this because it's been costing sellers a lot silently. Before 2024, you had 18 months to file claims for lost or damaged inventory, overcharged fees, dimension mismeasurements, etc. Now you have 60 days. Some removal claims:as little as 15 days.

On top of that, reimbursements are now calculated on manufacturing cost, not selling price. If Amazon estimates your cost (which they do if you don't submit it), they almost always estimate low.

I've been auditing several accounts and the combination of these two changes means some sellers are permanently losing hundreds to thousands every month without realizing it.

Quick question: do you have any system for tracking this in real time, or are you doing periodic audits? And if periodic — how often?"
