When I (17M) was about 2 my father had an affair with my mom's (ex) best friend and they left town together and he abandoned me and my mom. My mom's best friend was married too and they had a kid together who's my age. Though I guess we don't know for sure if she's actually his or not but he thinks she is his bio kid. My father dodged child support until a few months ago when they moved back to town with her daughter and the six kids they had together.

Her daughter approached me at school and told me they all want a relationship with me and I turned her down and asked her to leave me alone. She waited a few weeks and then she approached me again, this all happened at school or at the hangout spot everyone at school goes to. She said we're a family and her siblings are my siblings and we used to be close as toddlers and we should all be a family because what my father did isn't her fault or her siblings fault.

Her mom tried to talk to me another day and I told her to leave me alone or I'd call the police on her.

Because I didn't give in she (ex-best friend's daughter) took this to the school counselor and now the counselor has been trying to mediate between us and has encouraged me to give "my family" a shot and she has told me I don't have to like it but they are my family when I told her they weren't my family and I just wanted them all to go fuck off again.

I had to meet his other bio kids once because his stepdaughter/maybe bio daughter brought them to the hangout spot so we could meet. I left as soon as she came up to me with them and she was mad and she told the school counselor.

I don't want anything to do with them. But the counselor keeps telling me I should at least know them since they did nothing. She talks like she doesn't believe I don't want to know them and she thinks it's a bad move to refuse when I could realize in time I want them in my life.

I just want some advice because I'm tired of it and nothing anyone says has made me want to know them.
