Finished a mega battle with my son today
Played a scenario where Aragon, legolas, gimli and a number of Rohan warriors were sent to hold a farmstead on the westfold while theodred, theoden, gandalf and eomer were sent to muster reinforcements. Uruk hai scouts led by ugluk and lurtz emerged from the nearby forest and attempted to take the farm before reinforcements could arrive.
Highlights
Aragon killed lurtz in their first engagement
Theodred died in the forest trying to rout the scout archers
Gandalfs sourcerous blast decimated the ranks of the uruk hai reinforcements
Eomer led the charge to try to save theoden but ultimately couldn't get there in time
Legolas, after being completely useless the entire match, ended up putting arrow after arrow into the troll and killed it before it could do much damage.
Win for Rohan.
