London with an active 85 yo woman, who has traveled the world

I (early 60s) want to take my mother (age 85) to London. My mom has traveled all over the world, mostly with her sister, who passed away last year. She has technically been to London, on a Viking tour; however, they were late getting away from the ship & then there was a terrorist incident, so they saw almost zero. She likes doing tours, like Viking and Gate1. I like to plan my own itinerary, and I’m known for my planning “skills.” Suggestions?

Mom is active and relatively healthy, but doesn’t do as well, respiratory wise, with hills & stairs. She did Machu Picchu, but that was before this respiratory issue kicked in. As long as the terrain is flat, she’s a dynamo.

Considering making most of the plans, then using something like The Tour Guy, when we’re there? I looked into the Rick Steves 7-day tour, but that could be a bit too tough for her. Plus, I’m not sure that we would want 7 days just in London. I would love to go to Scotland (Edinburgh) or Ireland, if it doesn’t make things too crazy.
