Looking for some curb appeal ideas The back of our lake house is very plain , and from the road it almost looks like a detached garage instead of a home. The front side facing the water is much nicer with cedar shake shingles , but this is what people see when pulling up the driveway.
Any suggestions?
We recently purchased a lake house and are planning some exterior updates. The front of house currently has cedar shake siding as an accent . We’re debating whether to keep it, stain/ refresh it , or replace with something more modern.
What would you do??

In the process of moving and we came across mason jar of marbles. My mother cannot remember where she got them , only that she’s had them for 50+ years . Any info would be helpful. Thank you!
