How to be a wing woman to dad?

My dad who is 58 now has been single for the last 8 years since my mom passed away.

I don't think he has been with anyone else since then but he does get some attention because he's very fit and active.

There is one (late 40's) in particular in our apartment society who is feel has been showing some interest in him.

I'm myself 37 married and settled and am completely okay with this and kind of want to tell my dad to see where it goes. How do i approach the topic with him?

Is wearing waist chain inappropriate for a family wedding?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 36 year old south indian and am attending a wedding next week of a relative and was planning on wearing a saree along with a waist chain.

My dad has told me not to wear such accessories mainly referring to the waist chain. I don't know why he has an issue with this suddenly because I have worn it earlier as well and even wear a plain one at home and he has never said anything at that time and he had even bought me a gold waist chain in the past

Is waist chain an inappropriate thing to be worn at weddings?

Edit: Thanks to everyone who offered genuine advice and help. I had a conversation with him and he was asking me not to wear it because as per him there are 2-3 people who are attending the wedding who have a "bad eye".

For this Diwali he's going to get me another gold waist chain, so it worked out well haha. Thanks again to all those who helped
