More fireworks?!

What is it with fireworks in Hazel Park? They tend to start way before the 4th of July and go for about a month or two afterwards and now they just get randomly set off. Even if you don't care about traumatizing people's pets are you so infatuated with "boom, explosions, " that you don't care that you're almost certainly tormenting veterans? I don't personally like calling even the non emergency number and getting people in trouble but when people just set them off randomly I can't even calm my dog down with calming treats because she's already petrified.

Had some fun with the R1300R

Working as the parts associate at a BMW dealership means I get to experience a bunch of wonderful bikes! I got to take an F900GS on some light off-road riding, rode the R12G/S for a weekend, had a blast with a R1300RS for a couple hundred miles and so far my favorite was this weekend's roughly 300 miles on the R1300R. Any particular accessories and aftermarket parts that you all prefer?

Thanks for the Guardian Bell

Last Wednesday morning on my way to work on Mound St in Michigan a guy stopped beside me in a car at a stoplight motioning with something in his hand and saying something. As the light was about to turn green I asked him to follow me so we could park somewhere safe. I was definitely uneasy and feeling stupid thinking about an exit in case I was dealing with an angry motorist. We pulled over into a parking lot and he handed me this wonderful Guardian Bell! I assume that he's a fellow motorcyclist and maybe is on here. So, from the guy on the yellow Street Triple with the yellow Shoei RF1400 helmet, thank you!
