Just completed an incredible Ladakh circuit — 13 places in 9 days
Just got back from an amazing trip through Ladakh. I and my wife covered Leh, Khardung La, Hunder, Turtuk, Thang, Yarab Tso, Panamik, Chang La, Wari La, Pangong, Merak, Kyagar Tso and Tso Moriri.
The itinerary was fairly ambitious, with some extremely long driving days, but it turned out to be an incredible experience.
A special mention to our driver Tenzin Phande, who made the trip exceptionally comfortable. He was patient, knew the routes extremely well, and was particularly good at handling the long and remote stretches of the journey. We also appreciated how flexible he was whenever we wanted to stop for photographs or spend extra time somewhere.
After spending this much time on the road together, he genuinely became part of the experience rather than just our driver.
