Makeup Advice / Tips for my features
Hi! I don’t even know if this is allowed, but I randomly stumbled upon this picture online, and the woman in it looks almost IDENTICAL to me like fr.
I’ve been practicing doing my makeup for special occasions, and my goal is to enhance my natural features instead of completely changing how I look. I’m going for a soft, doll-like look, if that’s even possible with my features. 🥹 I want the main focus to be on the eyes, cheeks, and nose. basically aiming for that soft, innocent, feminine vibe. (slide 2 and 3)
With the features I have (pic for reference), what makeup techniques would you recommend to help me achieve that look? I literally have the same nose and eyes as the woman in the picture, except mine are asymmetrical. 😓
One of my eyes is almond-shaped while the other is hooded, but they’re both downturned. My lips are a little fuller than hers, my cheekbones are flat as heck, and I have a soft jawline. My chin also looks a bit receded because of my fuller lips. Overall, I have pretty low-contrast features, so nothing really stands out.
To anyone with the same (or similar) facial features, what techniques work best for you? I’d love any tips on eye makeup, contour, blush placement, nose contour, or anything else you think would help me achieve that soft doll look. Please help your girl out. 😭🫶 any tips would be appreciated. I’m also a beginner in makeup so like… 😔
