Dharma versus Jacquard?

I got four of the ice dyes from Dharma yesterday and made these samples just on pieces of old t-shirts and the amount of color and vibrancy is so much more compared to Jacquard, And this picture is after a dawn washout in my sink and a synthrapol washout in my washing machine... Are Dharma Procion dyes that much more superior? This is a less than 12 hours ice dye, not in the muck. I have another four samples in the muck right now that I'm going to pull out in a few minutes and I expect them to be even better. Just wondered about everyone's opinion and experience with both brands?

Ice dye washouts

Totally loving these shirts. Also, now that I've started dyeing in the muck, I'm not sure I'll ever not dye in the muck... It just turns out. So cool! 😁 Front of one, front and back of the other. Also same colors on both (the good old printer ink combo of magenta, turquoise and yellow). I put them in the same tub. The spiral shirt is DUI, geode is DOI.

Geode ice dye

Love this! Sorry about the second post, I accidentally did not attach a picture to the last one.

36 hours in the muck, magenta bright, yellow and turquoise.

I have my first set of pieces dyeing in the muck, we're about 12 hours in (I'm planning on going about 48 hrs) so of course the ice is all melted. However, the muck is only coming up about halfway on the fabric. Is this a problem? Should I flip my pieces over? Should I put them in smaller containers so the dye is covering more?

Any advice is appreciated! TYIA
