is anyone else having the issue when your foot is on the brake at a stop light or stop sign the RPMs drop and the car jerks? i have a 2026 EXL with less than 5 thousand miles on it

i received a call last night from the dealership i bought my car from in February and was informed that i was given the wrong car. they said it was the same make and model, but a different vin number. my car insurance has the wrong vin number along with all of the paperwork i signed. i’m also pretty positive the car isn’t registered because of all of this. what can i do? i plan on going to the dealership after work, but is this as simple as fixing the paperwork and calling it a day?

UPDATE: they are giving us the car that matches the correct vin number. they will also be setting up an appointment to get the car tinted as i had the previous car tinted
