So today the high way backed up on my way to work. They closed down to one lane due to construction and I was running late. As I was finally getting off the highway getting onto my exit (the lanes finally started opening up) I ran into a cone I was going incredibly way too fast (my own fault probs 75+) I’m not sure how tf a cone could do this type of damage but idk what to do. Is this something insurance is gonna go up for because it’s a “accident” or is it worth taking it to the shop i’ve gotten a few mixed opinions saying it looks like it could be “glued” back together i know the pictures probably aren’t the best I can take more later I was running late to work so I was only able to snap a quick picture.

Just got her in February! I backed into my boyfriend’s mom’s F150 like a dummy. Anyone have or had any similar damage and about how much did repair/labor cost? Just wanna know about how much I should start setting aside 😢

Hi! I noticed a small paint chip on the front of my car. What do you recommend for fixing it, should I just buy a touch-up pen on Amazon, or take it to a repair shop? Sorry if this is a noob question.

I JUST got my car back Friday because my transmission blew. I got a rebuilt transmission that cost 10k. The first time I drove the car it did this and it was too late to call as they closed. I took mental note that if it happens again I’ll call. It happened once again yesterday and again in this video just now. The only way to get it to fully turn off is to turn the car back on, put it in drive, put it back in park, and then push off.

I intend to call Honda back tomorrow and have them take a look but I want y’all’s thoughts because I got great info about my transmission issue. This was not happening before and I’m extremely pissed and upset that this car hit 100k miles and basically crapped out…

A while back, I had a break-in, and I’m still shaken up about it. While nothing was stolen, the fact that someone broke in and did this has been bothering me ever since. There was no surveillance that could clearly identify the perpetrator, and when I reported it, the police basically just told me to make a report. Given where I live, it feels like there’s not much else they’ll do.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Did you have to pay for repairs or replacements out of pocket, and did your insurance help at all?

Welp, on this day, a beautiful 2023 Honda HR-V LX AWD in Nordic Forest Pearl went up to car heaven. However, I am writing this post to give Honda the most amazing safety review I can muster.

A box truck mistook a 2 way stop for a 4 way stop and pulled in front of me at 45mph. The box truck was ok besides a little bent step frame My HR-V was clearly deemed totaled.

However, felt the need to make a post, as I, 7 hours later, have literally not a scratch on my entire body. MOST AMAZINGLY however, I do not feel the slightest bit of whiplash, not a single bruised collar from the seat belt, and the only injury I have to share is the SLIGHTEST little red mark on my inner hand from where the air bag deployed. Not even a burn, just a little smack.

This car kept me completely safe in a terrible accident. Obviously, the safety measures like the emergency braking and such did not prevent the accident, but I was on a dirt road and definitely slid quite a ways across the gravel.

So, know that you can feel safe in this car with your loved ones. I will absolutely be using my insurance claim to hopefully get the exact same vehicle (probably won't find a similar certified pre-owned in Nordic Forest Pearl again😭but thats ok).

Thank you to everyone that was concerned. Just to keep you all posted, it has now been over 24hrs and I'm still feeling plain as day! Can't say I feel any different than I did before the accident (besides frustrated, having to deal with insurance).

Our branch is small, but I'm glad 4 of us have HRVs. I have an older EX while the others have a Sport, EX and EXL. Every work day is like a HRV meet 😅
