I kind of regret not doing 5% for the back windows but it’s okay, still gives me the privacy i need and makes my car look 1000x better!
Not very sure what this could be, it’s a 2018 model. I’m afraid it’ll run my battery out so I unplug it everytime I’m parked somewhere for a long time. I don’t really have the money (yet) to go to the mechanic so I was just wondering if anyone had similar problems and what they had to do to fix it. Any help is appreciated
I went to Northside Honda in San Antonio looking for a HR-V EX-L I found online.
Northside is well known locally to add some ridiculous add-on features/packages and this wasn’t the exception. Between the four packages they added, it was almost $5,000 extra, plus taxes, registration, etc, total came up to $38,500 out of the door.
In my mind I had a $32,000-$33,000 number OUT OF THE DOOR price and I told the sales guy that I wasn’t in a hurry and that that price is way too far from what I am looking to pay. He went with the manager and brought it down to $35,500 and again I said no.
Manager came immediately to talk to me and explain how they cannot do any more discounts on the car, and I told him that I completely understand about it, but I had made up my mind on how I want to spend on the car, so I told him thank you, shook hands and left.
30 minutes later I got a message from them telling me that if I buy the car this week they will do $33,500 out of the door.
I have never bought a Honda before and I just started car shopping for my new car.
Is $33,500 a good deal or you think I can find something cheaper within the same line/specs?

So my wife came home from work a few days ago and parked in the driveway. The car was having no issues, other than some recent body work done due to a collision with a deer a week prior.
That evening, when we went to go out to dinner, there was zero power. Our first thought was the battery, so we replaced it, but there is still no power at all.
We then had a friend bring over an OBD scanner, but since the car has no power, it won't even run a diagnostic.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
I have a 2025 Honda Hrv that I purchased last April. I’m already at 30,000 miles (yes I know I’ve driven a lot). The dealership said that I’m due for a transmission fluid replacement and they quoted me $250. I’m unfortunately on a tight budget and I wanted to see what others do when this maintenance needs to be done. Should I just take care of it now or is it okay if I put it off?
American Honda has electrified the CR-V and Accord but not the smaller HR-V and Acura ADX, even though all four vehicles share the same architecture.
There’s no technical barrier to making hybrid versions of the HR-V and ADX, executives said, but they were noncommittal on timing as the automaker prioritizes cost in the entry-level crossover segment.
“We won’t talk about when and if hybrids are coming in those vehicles, but I don’t know that there’s any reason why not,” Gary Robinson, American Honda product planning chief, told Automotive News at Monterey Car Week.
The cost equation remains a primary consideration.
“It’s a cost-conscious segment so there’s always a little bit of a challenge there, specifically on the Honda side,” Robinson said.
That caution comes as hybrid competition intensifies. In the mainstream subcompact class, the Kia Niro, Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid and Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid all offer significantly higher fuel economy than Honda’s gasoline-only HR-V.
I have been reading about different CarPlay issues, but we just got the car (2027 EX-L) three days ago and set up wireless Apple CarPlay, but the next time we get in the car, it sees my phone and says connected, but the CarPlay button does not do anything. If you delete the phone and re-add it, CarPlay works again. We have now seen this behavior 3 to 4 times.
Does anyone know if there is a way to update the car’s software via Wi-Fi? I cannot find a way to connect this car to Wi-Fi, only other Bluetooth connections.
Is anyone else seeing this issue with wireless CarPlay on the 2027 EX-L?

I have been driving by 2025 HR-V since February that year. Driving around my area, North Texas Tarrant County, I have only seen three other third generation HR-Vs. I have seen a few second generation vehicles occasionally . However, Yesterday, I saw two other 3rd gen. HR-Vs, both on the same highway and both going in the same direction. My local area is the home of the huge, four door pickup trucks, which never carry anything in their beds, and humongous SUVs, usually driven by woman. Seeing two 3rd generation HR-Vs Iis a rare sighting around these parts. 🤪

Hi everyone,
I have a brand-new 2026 Honda HR-V with only about 1,000 miles, and I’ve been noticing a rattling/buzzing noise coming from the driver-side front door area while driving.
I recorded a video of the noise and attached it to this post.
The strange thing is that if I press my elbow firmly against the driver-side front door, the rattling completely disappears. As soon as I release the pressure, the noise comes back.
I took the vehicle to the dealership and had a technician look at it, but unfortunately they could not duplicate the noiseduring their inspection.
Since I can consistently reproduce it while driving, I’m wondering if anyone else with a 2026 HR-V has experienced something similar.

I’ve got a 2022 HR-V Sport w the black rims and took it to the Honda dealership for some maintenance, asked if they could wash it while it was in. The guy who helped me admitted that their $25 wash wasn’t great, but I just needed a basic clean.
Afterward, he didn’t end up charging me cuz he reiterated he didn’t feel right doing so with the quality, which I was grateful for, but on the way home I noticed this. I don’t think it was there before (can’t remember) but was just wondering if anything car wash wise might do this? Any chemicals or products?
Bought the 2025 HRV Sport model a few weeks ago and I’m loving the brake hold feature.
A friend of mine who has the same car told me someone at the dealership informed them that keeping it on would “destroy the brakes”.
I looked into it on a surface level and it didn’t appear to be true. I know it’s integrated into the ABS system. I believe the person at the dealership may have been talking about something else.
I do notice some noise going on with the brakes if it’s been sitting a little while (when I first start driving. It stops after a few seconds).
The noise reminds me of when you use the parking brake, after it’s been released, your brakes can sound a bit creaky shortly after disengaging it.
I don’t think it does, but I’d rather be safe and not over use it if there was any truth to this.

The red park light flashes. These all came on at the same time today. It didn’t go into limp mode on the (cautious) drive home. I have a 2020 HR-V. Has anyone had this? Please help 😭

2026 EXL HRV AWD, just bought it new in may 2026 from honda dealership. I noticed last month that the pipe was starting to hang and now the exhaust is peeking out too?
some Hrvs that I see when I’m out and about look like mine and then some look perfect with nothing hanging down at all.
