There are plenty of conspiracy theories out there, but most would be pretty scary if they were actually true. I'm more interested in the funny ones. Which conspiracy theory would make you laugh the hardest if it was suddenly proven to be 100% true tomorrow? It can be a popular theory, an internet joke, or even one you've made up yourself. What's your pick and why?

The more I think about it, the more I realize there are a lot of everyday things we all accept without questioning.

What is something that's considered completely normal in society, but when you stop and really think about it, it makes little to no sense?

It can be funny, serious, cultural, or just something that has always confused you. I'm curious to hear everyone's examples.

This is probably a dumb question, but it has always bothered me. In a lot of movies, ghosts can pass through walls, ceilings, and pretty much any solid object. So why do they sometimes open doors, walk through doorways, or appear to follow normal building layouts? Is there a lore reason for this, or is it just something filmmakers do because it looks better on screen?

Most of us have at least one strange experience that we still can't fully explain. Maybe it was a weird coincidence, something that disappeared and never turned up again, an unexplained event, or something someone said or did that never made sense.

So suppose you fall asleep tonight and wake up in the year 2050. You have access to the internet, news, and everything else but you only have time to check one thing first.

What would it be and why?
