Want to do it for fun after I get my NWHR, I'm in the 4 month service category. Is there a place I can go to do it early and on my terms?

Can speak natively and can read and write 50%. I took chinese school classes k-3 and then took 2 semesters of heritage chinese in college which got my reading level up to where I can read 50% of any article or document and infer the rest.

I want to get to 100% native level as an abc, what is the most efficient way to do that?

Is it from date of exam or date of authentication?

Keep getting rejected because of missing a stamp or another minor detail. I got it notarized but the doctor didn't write a signed statement. I am applying for my Permanent Resident Certificate Copy (定居證副本).

I don't want to keep play playing guessing games with TECO LA back and forth. I need a recommendation for a clinic in the SoCal area that is guaranteed to do it right the first time. (1 stop shop)

Is there anyway I can waive the fee?

What exactly do I need to do after getting my NWHR in regards to be able to leave the country?

Also whenever I come back to Taiwan what do I need to visit the conscription office to exit?

If I were to do conscription and was born in 1999 it is only 4 months right? Can i choose when to go?

Won't have time to finish the process in the US but I will have all my necessary documents authenticated + translated. Also will have my NWHOR passport.

Also any tips to make the process as fast as possible?

I'm 26, have an offer of 400k as a software engineer, and have always been interested in being a FSO. I actually chose my major as compsci in college as I was getting out of the military due to the advice of this subreddit of choosing a "useful" major and always planned to apply after college. I'm about to graduate and still want to scratch that itch.

My race is listed as “W” (white) on one of the pages, but I am Asian. I already had the English version authenticated by TECRO DC.

How much does this matter? I noticed the issue while translating it into Chinese. Will TECO LA still accept my Chinese translation for authentication, and could this cause any problems when applying for my permanent resident certificate copy?

I’ve already contacted the FBI to correct it, but I’m concerned it may take too long. Will I need to have the document re-authenticated by TECRO DC?

I'm about to get my NWHR as an ABC and spent the first quarter of my life in the US doing very American things, I want to become Taiwanese in spirit not only on paper. What do you you recommend doing?

I'm open to serving my 4 months, I served in the US Marines when I was younger so I really enjoy the military lifestyle. Any ABCs or Taiwanese born abroad that did their conscription term wanna share their experiences?

I am also fully fluent in Mandarin and Spanish, is there any cool or unique opportunities for me as a new Taiwanese citizen for work?

In addition, I studied abroad at Tsinghua University in China while in undergrad. How much weight does this hold in the Taiwanese job market? My undergrad degree from my home university is in computer science from an Ivy league school in the States.

Is it really 3-4 weeks as states on the website? My home TECO is LA which authenticates documents in 5 biz days if you walk in.

What is the best times to walk in?
