This is Barnaby. He, like every other beagle, has a serious case of the munchies. We keep his food in a latched bin. Every time I open it to feed him, he tries to dive in head first. So the question is, how much would a beagle eat if he got into the bin without supervision?
I had not been to a Steak and Shake for years. The last time I went to one, they still had more of a full service concept with real plates and wait staff. The one I went to today you ordered from a kiosk and the food was served on a plastic tray. The food was good. No complaints there, but I do miss the real service.
Sorry for the long post. I went to an Introduction to Long Arm Quilting seminar this weekend. Now I am trying to decide what I want to do when I grow up (retire from a gig for a software company). I am trying to decide if starting a small scale long arm business is a good idea. My thought is to build a 30 X 40 building next to the house and make a sewing studio that is 15 X 30. Zoning is not an issue. My expected cost for the building and long arm machine is between $100K and $130K. I can't pay out of pocket for the whole thing, but I have no other debt so borrowing is not an issue. I live in an area where there are a lot of people making tops but not too many long arm quilters. My plan is to focus on computer driven edge to edge quilting of about 4 quilts per week. Mostly enough to pay for the machine and keep me out of trouble. My wife is highly supportive of this endeavor. Any reasons why I shouldn't do it?
