My boyfriend told me he “knew a bad dog when he saw one” and that it wasn’t too late to change my mind on adopting her… 😕

My boyfriend told me he “knew a bad dog when he saw one” and that it wasn’t too late to change my mind on adopting her… 😕

So I dumped the guy & kept the “bad” (perfect) beagle. My new boyfriend made her this bed set up in her favorite morning sun spot. 🥰

My Beagles who crossed the rainbow bridge already

I do miss them a lot, and they will forever have a piece of me. All three didn’t live as long as my first (and still alive) senior beagle and that breaks my heart the most.

Some pictures from my family vacation making sure my beagle Stanley had a great time

My boy traveled from Rhode Island to Florida and back on a road trip with my wife and baby and was amazing and the best co pilot I could ask for. He got to stop at all the states along the way to get all the sniffs he could take in.

It’s been 2 years and 3 hours since Daisy crossed the rainbow bridge

I miss her so much everyday. She had a presence , a force to be reckoned with. She was so smart. Learned to open child proofed cabinets. Opened cars windows, doors and center console. The best was when she opened the console, ate the granola bar put the wrapper back in and closed it. You just have to laugh. She could make the darkest day full of sunshine.

She was found by a friend in the woods of West Virginia. Most likely dumped because she wasn’t a good hunter. She didn’t know how to live in a house. Fortunately she came up north and we shared 13 years together.

Daisy I know you’re running free. I miss you so much. All of your beds. Crate, toys and leashes are still here waiting for another dog to love, but I am so not ready.

I don’t want you to worry about us. We’re all fine. You’ll see that in person when I meet you again.

The Hunter

Every now and again a mouse gets in the house. I like to catch and release them when I can find them. I have no idea where this one is hiding.
