Is there any framegen options other than lsfg-vk? (Help a noob out here)

Okay so I've been using lsfg-vk and i had no issues when I'm on KDE, i check the vkcube x4 fg and it's smooth, but when i move to GNOME just recently the vkcube x4 is stuttery? (Idk if it's stuttery or is it bcs i need to move my cursor on it unlike on KDE, but I don't think i need to do that on KDE tho)

And don't tell me this is a GNOME problem? also I don't think the fg works in the game bcs it's still kinda stuttery or is it because of something else? Bcs the gpu usage was 100% unlike in windows where even if i set the fg to x4 the gpu usage only maxed out at 80%ish, the game is Wuthering Waves and i feel like i got the correct profile bcs the process name is "Client-Win64-Sh"

(It'll be sad if i need to go back to KDE cuz i like GNOME's workflow very much)

If it helps in any way this is my laptop cpu n gpu :

Ryzen 5 6600H

RTX 3050 6GB

I'm on Nobara GNOME the Nvidia edition, and thank you all in advance

(Edit: the game does flick when i change some settings in the lsfg-vk-ui tho)

KDE Plasma or GNOME?

Hey y'all I'm still new to this linux system, my first distro was Nobara and it was amazing because everything just works out of the box and i installed the KDE Plasma version bcs it felt similar to windows so i got the hang of it very quickly.

But recently i wanted to hop distro and try CachyOs bcs i heard it was fast and snappier bcs it's Arch Based and lightweight, and during the installation i noticed that i can install the GNOME version of the DE, now... all of my friends that uses linux usually have Fedora with GNOME and from the look of it, it's supposed to be like a Mac in the workflow and interface(?) and I'm kinda intrigued since i do own both windows and mac and i love the mac workflow and interface more than windows.

So my question is... Is there any difference between KDE Plasma and GNOME? The ease of use i mean and is there a pros and cons to each of them?

And also I'm still dual booting since i still need windows from some of my uni work, and after i finish in August I'm considering switching permanently to linux bcs well... Microslop....

Thank you all in advance 🙂‍↕️
