Front Door Swap - Possible?

We are doing some renovation and have a great old door from our bedroom that led to the outside that we would like to swap for the front door.

Our front door is annoying because they placed the deadbolt and opening handle too close together. So it’s hard to open and we can’t install a touchpad because there is not enough room.

The good news is that the bedroom door is solid and larger than the front door.

So my question is… how big of a pain would it be to retrofit the bedroom door to the front door frame?

Replacing a Door

Question for y’all. We are doing some renovation and have a great old door from our bedroom that led to the outside that we would like to swap for the front door.

How to fix?

Alright. Replaced my old, cracked backflow preventer. Unfortunately I have One connection where the solder just didn’t take well and I have a leak 🤦‍♂️.

I tested the system where I had soldered in two other spots and that has no leaks, so what would be the best way to fix this without having to take it all apart again?

Rotate Shutoff Valves?

Tried to research and couldn’t find anything on this topic…

Somehow my quirky house continues to be quirky.

I have a crack in my Febco 765 back flow preventer. I did my homeowner due diligence and watched a YouTube video and said “I can do that.”

Now, pulled the new Febco 765 backflow preventer out of the box and it’s “backward” from what is installed at my house.

Aside from it seemingly being a real tight fit from the factory, any reason I couldn’t just screw down the shutoff valves 180 degrees so they are facing outward from the house? Is this how the original person did this install, or did Febco make a backflow in this orientation in the past?
