
Fulltime YouTube Video Editor (Long-Form Content)
We're launching a new YouTube channel focused on geopolitics, global affairs, and documentary-style storytelling, and we're looking for an experienced video editor to join our team.
This role is focused primarily on researching and sourcing high-quality footage that matches the voice-over. Our senior editor will handle all motion graphics, maps, and advanced visual effects, so your responsibility is to create a strong visual foundation for each video.
What You'll Do
- Find relevant stock footage, news clips, archival footage, and other visuals that match the voice-over.
- Edit the footage into a well-paced timeline that keeps viewers engaged.
- Organize project files so they're ready for our senior editor to add motion graphics.
- Deliver 2–3 long-form videos (around 10 minutes each) per week.
- Meet deadlines and communicate consistently throughout the project.
What We're Looking For
- Experience editing long-form YouTube videos,or educational content.
- Strong research skills and the ability to find compelling visuals for complex topics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects experience is a plus but not required).
- Reliable communication and the ability to deliver on schedule.
