The Govt of West Bengal has officially notified the "Annapurna Yojana", replacing the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme to provide ₹3,000/month to eligible women via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) starting June 1, 2026.

🔍 Key Highlights:

• Eligibility: Women aged 25–60 years who are not paying Income Tax and are not in permanent govt employment.
• Automatic Migration: Existing Lakshmir Bhandar beneficiaries (except those marked dead/shifted/absentee during SIR-2026) will be migrated automatically.
• New Applications: A fresh online portal will launch on June 1, 2026.
