Hello! Based on advice from this sub, I ordered a set of Ent 3.0 wheels for my road bike in July. I did not receive any confirmation email or order status updates. When I contacted them, they just said to be patient. My credit card has been charged for the wheels. Has anyone had a similar experience? TIA.
Hello! I have a Trek Domane (SL5 Gen 4, I believe) with Shimano 105 drivetrain and disc brakes, and I’m thinking of upgrading from stock wheels to carbon. Based on what I’ve read on Reddit, I was leaning towards getting some Chinese carbon wheels, probably the Elitewheels ENT 3.0. However, I have a few hangups. First: there are options for the hubs and bearings, and I don’t know what to choose. Second: I’m concerned about their durability and ability to get replacement parts/repairs.
Meanwhile, I found a set of Specialized Roval C38 carbon wheels used on my local FB marketplace. They are listed at $700, but I’m hoping I could negotiate down to $500. They already have Shimano-compatible hubs.
Does anyone have any insight regarding the comparability of these two different wheels? Looking for any advice to help make a decision. If it helps, I ride my Domane mostly on paved roads, about 150miles per week, mostly group rides, between 16-19 mph, and a few century rides each year. Thanks in advance!
